Description

This is a winery that participates in Harvest Host program. Harvest Host members can park overnight in a fully self contained RV. When we showed our Harvest Host card to the management they did not seem to know about it but had no problem with us parking overnight so I think others who ask permission should be ok. No fee for parking / camping but you should ask permission and buy some wine. They have excellent wine that is very inexpensive and the tour is enjoyable. Far enough from road to be very quite. As Mexico's largest winery they can get busy and may even have tour busses. Last winery tour is at 3pm and everything closes at 5PM. Parking area is very large flat gravel with big trees for shade. Gates to parking area are closed at 5PM and a security guard remains on site. They have nice bathrooms that remain open all night. Pets are allowed on the parking lot, but only on leash.

Perfect spot to stay in Guadalupe. We were one of the only rigs in a large parking lot overlooking the vineyard.

Nice spot. If you tell the security guy you wanna stay for a night there are totally fine with it! We got a private wine tour, without being harvest host members, and its was amazing. Nice staff (English speaking) and save spot to stay for the night. We paid nothing to park, but just for 2 bottles of wine. Amazing!

I’ve been buying this wineries wine the 2 months we’ve been traveling the Baja. What a nice opportunity to stay the night on this property! Fun wine tasting with awesome wines we bought to bring back to our camper for dinner! We and our dogs loved walking the many trails around the winery! What a lovely stay ❣️❣️❣️

Love wine + vineyard view overnights!
The Host was very responsive and welcoming via email with Harvest Hosts.
They have snacks but not real food. I have purchased several of their bottles around Baja. Their Tempranillo, Cab Sauv, and Blanc de Zinfandel were all good. Today I got to try the Cab Sauv Rose and I’m not typically a lighter wine gal but I loved it and bought a bottle.
I also walked to Casa Dona Vineyard to pick up salad a and pizza and felt safe walking this trek solo (10 min there / 10 min back). The restaurant was recommended by LA CETTO and the security guard said it is safe to walk there and back.

At Casa Dona, I highly recommend the ensalada chico (fresh veggies and whatever this white dressing is, is super yummy) and a Margherita Pizza. The pizza comes with this medium spicy red sauce on the side which was interesting yet the combo was divine. You can eat there, but it was loud and busy. I suggest bringing it back to LA Cetto, the scenery is more pretty, and having your dinner with your bottle of wine while watching the sunset behind the vineyard & mountains.

Great place, friendly stuff, good wine, clean beathrooms! Perfect for doing a wine tasting and dont have to drive afterwards :)

We came for a wine tasting and ended up staying a night. We didn't even had to ask, they invited us right away. Best camp spot you can find in this area. Bottles of wine aren't expensive here, so you might want to just buy two bottles instead of doing the tasting. We recommend the Chenin Blanc and the Nebbiolo.

This place is great! Very friendly overnight guard, had to wait until his compañero could arrive with the key for the gate. We shared a beer and talked about the stars, he had a lot of nice things to say. Eventually we made it in and were the only ones in the parking lot until the workers arrived around 07:00. Bathrooms reasonable, scenery excellente!!

Free camping. We were the only ones there. Was great. Did a wine tasting and it was yummy

Report Check-In

Very nice winery, super friendly staff from field workers to office managers.
Very clean place. Some shade to park.
No need to mention you have to try and buy their wines as a courtesy to let you stay for free. Chardonnay won 1st place in Belgium.
The baños are spotless and walking distance, they were open all night but no guarantee.
Beautiful view of the vineyards and beautiful birds of prey in the morning to spot.
Highly recommended!

Asked if we could camp here in the parking lot in self contained RV and the guard said yes and showed us where to go. A nice relatively quiet spot next to big old trees with great views of the fields of grapes. Lots of birds. The gift shop has tastings, a wine garden and ordinarily tours but the tours are closed now for covid. Really nice place and so nice of them to let us camp here.

free camping in a large parking lot at the winery. There is a guard on duty at all times and will let you camp if you just tell him you're here for camping. Here is their email to double check of course [email protected] very fast response time.

It’s a packed dandy parking lot at the winery. The gate is open 24 hours and there is a security guard that starts at 5 pm. The parking is brightly lit and they keep the washroom open throughout the night. We stayed for free. The tasting was very reasonable, 200 pesos, in comparison with other wineries and the wine is great, surprisingly!

Very nice spot.
I arrived at 4 and they were already closing for new visitors. I walked up to the guard and asked him if I could stay for the night and he immediately understood and called another guy to show me where to park. Even in this stressy situation with all the cars trying to get in and having to turn around, he was super attentive and nice. Later on he came by and explained me where are the toilets and so on.
I didn't try the wine yet but I bought a bottle.

Arrived there and security asked us if we want to do a wine tasting and/or stay overnight. He asked for our harvest toast membership, which we don’t have. He was nevertheless happy to help and to arrange that we could stay there (of course he asked for a tip). We were directed to the backside with views into the wineyard. Security around all night long, but mainly out of sight. Usage of toilet was possible 24 hours. The tour with wine tasting (100 peso per person) was nice even if in Spanish. Guide gave us some info in English though. Tasting included 2 white and 2 red wines.

Report Check-In

Perfect. Friendly security, excellent customer service at tasting room. Arrived 4:45pm, tasting was open until 6pm as they had a bus tour. Parked in dirt parking lot under a large street lamp, quiet, secure, cozy. Recommend arrive no later than 4:30 and buy a few bottles and tip the staff. Will return.

Lovely place to rest for the night. We went in to buy a bottle of wine and asked if we could camp. Staff were very nice and welcomed us to stay 1-3 nights, no charge. The security guard showed us where to park near the back of the winery and said the gates are closed 7 pm - 7 am. Bathrooms were open all night and were being cleaned in the morning. A little bit of truck and production noise until 8 pm or so but this did not detract from the beautiful vineyard views.

Report Check-In

As described - FANTASTIC place anytime and especially first night if coming from Tecate crossing. Looked at the School for the Deaf RV park but too noisy as close to the road. Tried to drive to RanchoLaBellota but the road was too rough for us so we turned back. LA Cetto winery was awesome - quiet, super clean and the staff could not have been more friendly. No need to be Harvest Host members, just respectful and do the tasting (100pesos) or buy wine ( from about 130pesos ). Bathroom is open all night. Ophelia in the office speaks fluent English and seems to be in charge.

We came here at 2pm. They have very good wine tour at $50/person for 4 wine tastes. The wine here are incredibly good price and taste so good. The staffs are very helpful and kind. We asked them about staying overnight with our campers and they kindly accepted and guided us to park at one of the parking lot. They have restrooms.

Nice vineyard. ee showed up befire 5 but they closed early. The guards tried to turn us away, but we had emailed the winery beforehand and showed them the email saying it was OK to stay. they let us in and we were the only ones in a big dirt parking lot. We plan to visit the winery tomorrow when they open.

tasting is $50 or $100 including your.

they let us part overnight without issues. guards are super friendly. bathrooms very nice and clean.

wine wasn't really our favorite.

Report Check-In

the two friendly guardians tell us is not possible to sleep here... even if we bought wine.

Report Check-In

Très calme. On a pas pu faire la dégustation, ils n'acceptent pas les enfants avec nous!!! Mais le tarif est le même qu'en supermarché. Bien placé pour passer la frontière !

Report Check-In

Stopped by for a quick tour, delicious bottle of wine and a place to rest up for the evening. Inquired about camping and they didn't seem to mind as long as we slept in our van. We were the only ones there. Went for a sunset stroll through the vineyard with our dog and enjoyed a safe and secure place to spend the evening. They don't charge for camping but I recommend buying a bottle of wine.

Report Check-In

great tasting room with wonderful people working there. we showed up 15 minutes before closing and they gave us some tastings and we're very friendly. got champagne made at the processing plant ($5USD) for new years and then asked about parking there. they were totally fine with it and super nice. the lot is big, flat, patrolled by security, and well lit (our curtains came in handy to block the lights). I recommend the wine and staying the night here.

Report Check-In

We stopped in for a tasting, bought some excellent wine (at very excellent prices) and inquired about camping. It seemed to be a fairly common request, and they kindly allowed us to park overnight in their gated, patrolled lot.

It was beautiful and our first night in Mexico!

They do have very nice bathrooms near the tasting room, but they close at 5.
