Description

We found this place looking for"rancho santana". Its seems a mini zoo or a farm, organized and for tourists. We asked to sleep on the car and they show us a big parking on the entry, under the trees. The price for camping is 15 soles per person, with the use of the swimming pool and toilet included. They have a restaurant and bungalows for rent. No electricity near the parking but yes on the other zones. We went with our dog hidden and at night we let him go out. Weekends is full of people, not recomended.

Nice place during the week days, you can park on the parking lot, there is shadow, quiet during the night. We used the cold shower of the swimming pool. You can access to the swimming pool and the zoo.

Price: 30 soles for two.

Great place, such a treat compared to just parking somewhere: Huge pool and zoo, restaurant, even a zip line (I didn’t ask about). They told me S/.30 for 1 person in truck, then offered S/.20 but ended up charging me only S/.15. Great deal considering it basically includes 2 day’s entrance fees (at S/.10 each).

Great spot. "Two wheels" below pretty much nailed it alough the tent camping is a bit strange in that I was camped in the middle of the swan ride. However that is also next to the wifi. Options might be better after the construction. I'm not sure if they are building or rebuilding. If you have kids its a for sure stop. I went on a Monday it was good. Looks like there could be hundreds on an weekend though !

We were two up on our Motorbike, we got to Chiclayo and not seeing allot around decided to head here. The trip from Chiclayo takes about 45 minutes to an hour as the roads and towns, we believe have been impacted by floods early in the year. Trucks and cars use the roads no problems, its just very cut up in sections and some of the towns were the roughest we had travelled on..... but still useable..... if that makes sense. We arrived at the Zoo and it was well sign posted, we were greeted at the front gate by the friendly security and shown to reception There we were again met by friendly staff who were more than happy to let us camp for 15s per person. Initially the camp spot he suggested was not suitable and we asked about an alternative near the front gate and they said no issue. There were toilets, a restaurant (Beer and wine :) ) and we were told we had full use of the pool, Zoo, etc etc . There are no camping showers as such but we were offered the use of shaowers in the Bungalows they also have, 120s per night upwards. There was Average Wifi, standard for Peru, the place was locked and security at night as well as being quite with no barking dogs or Roosters to wake you up. There is a large car park so Motorhomes and bigger Rigs should be OK. While for us, it was a bit out of the way, it was a great place to stay the night and we were made to feel very welcome.....Security Guard even brought us a fresh Coconut juice in the morning. Could be a good stopping point for parents travelling with kids as the pool is huge. We will attach photos and an ariel shot taken with the Drone

This was a nice place to park for one night. Flat parking, wifi and toilets and showers. This area has been greatly impacted by the floods in the recent months but they are working hard on repairs. $15sol/pp

Our kids were enchanted when they saw this park! It's got a very nice swimming pool, a little zoo (with crocodiles!), electrical go carts,... for the parents it's a chill place with lots of nice trees and hammocs. We could camp here in our tent for 60 soles in total and were designated a nice spot on the grass next to the zoo. The lights from the backetball field for the guests, served us in the evening to cook :-).
When we were about to leave the park the next day after a good swim, we met Richard, the owner. He invited us to have dinner in the restaurant for a nice discount. The food was excellent and Richard's generosity was great.
We can only recommend this place, it's a piece of Paradise in Peru.

It's a big place, which resembles a country club. It has a couple of pretty big restaurants with lots of tables and the food is very good. The pool is huge and with waterbogans, but the showers are just ok (not well maintained and rusty). I stayed during weekdays and the place was pretty empty, but I guess that on the weekends the place is packed (considering its large capacity).

Good place for kids that need space to burn some energy after a long days drive. Avoid the weekend though. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and it was crowded and loud. The weekdays were quiet. Parking lot is huge.
