Description

Beautiful hotel in Pasto with big rooms and very private rooms. Just about the only budget option we could find as the other hotels on iOverlander appeared shuttered and everything else seemed pricey.

for one person, charged 40000 pesos for big room with private bathroom (30000 with shared bathroom). recommended place with caring owners... the suicide shower even appears to have an earth connection!!

Not much to add - a well known cyclist spot for a reason. We got a bit sick during our stay so we were glad to have a room with windows and a private bathroom - 60k per night. TV fabulous, could stream seamlessly from all my apps, which made the whole being sick thing much easier. Couple of things around the place a little old but honestly, very clean overall and really great value. We used our little camp stove in the room and they definitely knew about it but no one said anything which we appreciated!

I wouldn’t say our shower was warm at any point but hey ho, a very minor problem.

Luis and his wife are really dedicated to make your stay in Koala Inn as much pleasant as possible. Pets are welcome. Cyclists are welcome too. And even cyclists with pets are welcome :) the Wi-Fi was very good everywhere. I was afraid the house would be loud but it was in fact super quiet. The quality/price ratio is the highest in Pesto. You get a big room with two big beds with shared bathroom for 25k. If you are with a friend is even cheaper paying just 10k extra per person. The area is central close to lots of restaurants ( I recommend Tayrona for the lunch and breakfast) and specialty cafes ( like my favourite “Moneta, café y memoria”).

Can't state much more than previously mentioned, just posting to signal that all is still as before now in 2022. Very, very great place! Paid 25kCOP for a room without bathroom, was allowed to take my bicycle in the room, just expect to carry it a few steep steps.

This is the place to stay in Pasto, look no further. So comfy! We were told that changes were made to make rooms comfier.

This hostel is clean, beautiful, well located, has comfy beds in big spacious rooms now with private bathroom, cable tv and *hot water*. Rooms have a nice chair/table in case you need to have some work space and the wifi is fast, we loved it.

The hostel is an old colonial house with beautiful plants hanging from the corridors. There are three floors surrounding a central patio/area in the first floor with chairs and tables to hang out. Not all the rooms on the first floor have windows, we stayed in one with no windows and had the best sleep in a while (it was so dark! Yay!). The second night we moved to the second floor and the room was awesome too (we moved because we wanted to have windows).

Rooms in the second and third floor are also very spacious and have windows looking at the beautiful mountains.

The room with 2 big beds was 50K. This included free coffee in the morning. The price is great for the location and the comfort.

If you are traveling by bike you will have to bring your bike up a set of stairs; it was easy and the hostel was really awesome. If you go inside the kitchen you can see a wall with pictures of the many bike travelers that have stayed here.

The kitchen is currently only for staff use only.

Super nice couple, very friendly and helpful. We spent a night in a double room without bathroom for 30000COP.
Clean, simple and good price.

Unfortunately the kitchen is not for the clients but they offer breakfasts.

We stayed here for two nights. The house is beautiful with hanging plants in its atrium and the wooden floor. The owners are friendly and helpful. We got free coffee in the morning, and when I needed to get a bag zipper fixed, they took care of it! We paid 50k for a double room with two big beds (a bit saggy) and shared bathroom. Bicycles could be rolled into the room. Wifi was fast. We recommend opting for one of the rooms on the 2nd floor, they look much nicer!

Closest parking is about 1.5 blocks away.
Wifi is very fast!
The shared shower was warm, but not hot.
Paid 30000cop for a room with shared bathroom. no windows in my room, so I slept too long in the morning :)

Really beautiful old house with hardwood floors. Price is now 30,000 pp. I think Luis can make you pancakes for breakfast if you ask him, not sure if it’s extra. I had a big, clean room away from the street and slept like a rock, but most of the rooms with shared bathroom seem to be without window. Shared bathroom was clean enough. They say you can’t use the kitchen but no one said anything when I did ;)

Still a cool place. Paid 50k for double room with shared bathroom.
Parked 3 blocks away next to the Exito supermarket (15k for the night) - might have height restriction, around 2.40m

We were recommended to stay here by another cyclist who we met in Ecuador. This is not a high end boutique hotel but is a lovely old house with big atrium and wonderful wooden floors, high ceilings and lots of character. Rooms are extremely spacious and very clean. Some rooms have private bathrooms but our shared bathroom was big, very clean and had lots of hot water. Wifi is good and the owner, Luis, was extremely friendly and helpful... we were even given a nice coffee and tea when we arrived! We paid 50,000 for a twin room, which is good value. Great location too, with lots of shops and places to eat close by.
