Good spot, pretty calm and clean toilets

It appears the entrance to this vast gravel lot is roped off and no parking is allowed. So unfortunate.
Report Check-InGreat overnight place as described only a couple of places to be if you want to be level but a quiet nights sleep
Report Check-InGreat quiet and safe place to stay. 24 hour access to a flushable toilet and slow running water from the sink, there was toilet paper while we were there but might be a good idea to bring your own in case. Woke up and hiked the trail which was a great start to the day. Cell service was good on TMobile
Report Check-Ina good nights sleep
good verizon coverage
bring your own toilet paper
Large lot, trailhead. Nice clean bathroom with running water and septic. Close to Highway but not noisy
Report Check-InEasy to enter night or day, couple other rigs, not flat but not too bad, same with the noise: close but not too close to the highway. Nice hike in the canyon, nice bathroom with toilet, sink, trash can. I should have ride my MTB Instead of hiking, was not sure but nice single tracks and not that hard even for hard tails.
Report Check-InWe spent a great night here. We woke up surrounded by saguaro cacti and walked a bit of the trail in the morning. Quiet, peaceful, only one other person there at night. People show up in the morning to use the trail but it wasn’t loud. The bathroom doesn’t have much toilet paper but the flush toilet and sink work well.
Report Check-InDidn’t stay the night but seemed like a nice place to sleep. Took a short hike through the saguaros and saw & heard a couple cows on the neighboring hills. The restroom did not have any toilet paper so be wary of that.
Report Check-InJust off highway, dirt road ok for 2wd. Arrived in dark and left at dark, felt safe, 2 other vans parked. Relatively flat in parts of lot.
Report Check-Ingreat spot, toilet is closed. it also has very good hiking trails, get here early enough to do them.
Report Check-InWe couldn’t find a spot to camp in the rain and this worked fine for us. It was not 100% level but we made it work. Safe and set back from road.
Report Check-InI love this place! Two directions to go in the bct and the high desert trail which takes you to a park for kids with bathroom and running water! Spigot in side of bathroom at park to fill water if needed. Please respect your neighbors and the locals living close by and please clean up after yourself! Keep this place nice and clean so we can continue to camp here! Very safe, kind locals, gas station and library in walking distance! Highway a bit noisy but great cell service and free!
Report Check-InBLM trailhead parking with a great little 2 mile hike as a bonus. Far enough off the freeway for a quiet night. A parking lot in a bit of a hill but we found a level spot. Bathrooms were closed, unfortunately. Dec 10th. Nice spot for a quiet overnight on A BLM trailhead.
Report Check-InClean quiet parking lot with only minor freeway noise. Fairly clean flush toilet and sink plus very strong LTE signal make this a very nice spot.
Report Check-InSo rad to wake up surrounded by giant saguaros! And 24h access to clean toilets and running water is awesome too.
Report Check-InQuiet trail head parking lot with flush toilet and water to wash up.
Report Check-Ingreat place, super quiet, much better than the rest stop down the road. no drinking water and only tap water to wash your hands with. nice toilet. nice short trail. road isn't too bumpy on way in, we managed fine with our van.
Report Check-InPristine. Wonderful, marked, hiking trails (easy), clean washroom with running water and lots of friendly people :)
Report Check-InEasy to find right off 17. Definitely a bumpy road down to the site so go slow. We have an ‘86 Toyota motorhome and made it through just fine. Pretty level, gravel parking lot at the trailhead. Very quiet and beautiful place to spend the night without hassle
Report Check-InOk to sleep at. The flattest spots are on the side of the restroom.
Report Check-InGravel parking lot at the trailhead of black canyon. Free and clean. There is cold running water and flushing toilet. ok for the night.
