Immediately outside the gate on the road down into the park (which is locked and closed to vehicles), this spot has the most amazing views and the sunrise was spectacular. There are no 'no camping' signs and the sign states that '11pm-7am' is 'quiet time', so it seems that it is permitted to stay here overnight. The park in the valley below is day-use only. Free, but no facilities here at all. Please keep this beautiful spot clean and only stay here overnight if you are self-sufficient with your own facilities on-board.

Beautiful spot! We’ve spent a few hours here but need to go somewhere with better cell service for work. Would have loved to stay!
