I’m a cyclist and we stayed here. A room with two beds for 400 pesos a night and a fan that was not very effective. Has a shower with cold water, bathrooms, and a restaurant on site with reasonably priced food and beverages (ie beers). This is a surfer town so we met lots of traveling surfers too. Lovely place with lovely staff, highly recommend.

There is space for two campers. The owner was friendly. A very quiet, beautiful place.

Stopped by today with my truck camper. Was told they don’t have much space for campers, just 1-2 spaces. But was allowed to stay. $100ppn. Was asked if we needed a lot of power. We do, given that we have 2 cats and it’s 96 degrees F, so AC during the day is a necessity. The lady said their outlets can’t handle high amounts of electricity but they allowed us to run our generator if positioned as far from the cabanas/palapa as possible. It’s a quiet generator, so that helps.

We asked to camp here and they said no. We have a truck camper. So I guess they don’t offer camping anymore.

Spent two nights here, nice little place
Clean bathroom and cold water showers. Think we paid 200 for van and one tenter.
Beach is great with point break loaded with surfers.
Fun to watch people come to this amazing beach and then just leave because YOU HAVE TO CROSS LAGOON to get to beach shore.
I’m 5’9” and chest/neck deep.

Also suitable for larger campers as the driveway is wide enough. 100 pesos pp/night. Cold showers and toilets. No electricity. WiFi available. Nice ambiance. Space for 2-3 vans.

100 pesos a night w/ shower and toilets. Not bad we got there late so needed a spot

We weren’t able to fit through the gate at La Jolla down the road so came back here and fit fine with our truck and slide in camper. 100 pesos per person per night. Nice people, and nice to have toilets and a cold shower.

We stopped and parked here, but they where charging 150 pp for one night no electricity no water... so we left. The guy was not really interested on having us... but is open

As of today most of this place burnt down last night but seems like there are other places if you ask around.

Came for one night, stayed for 2. Great spot to camp (in our truck). Peaceful town. We have our own kitchen setup so were able to cook. Showers are not hot but hot water is not needed here. New showers/washroom behind the cabins along the road are better.

The owners were lovely and working daily to make improvements. Would return here.

This was one of our favourite beaches we visited and didn’t mind paying mxn $30 ea. to visit the community managed beach. They keep it clean for the most part and it seems the town recycles and composts.

50MP/pp with electricity. Very clean toilets and showers. Sink to do the dishes. Area to hang out with tv and ping pong table. Some shade. No wifi nor Telcel service, but there is a shop that sells wifi closeby. Less than 5 minutes ride to the beach (30MP/pp for access, 7am-7pm). There are some small tiendas nearby.

We were here for over a week; loved the place. Electricity worked well and showers/toilets were clean. The best place to stay wirh a camper van in Barra (for us:-)...)

We stayed here for 3 nights and had an awesome time! Payed 50$ pnpp without electricity. toilets and showers were super clean. Very nice common area with pingpong table. Pepe also rents surfboards for 150$ per day. Beach is beautiful and good for surfing.

Nice place to stay for a couple of nights. Pepe charges 100 pesos per person with electricity! However the power doesn't work very well. Bathrooms were clean. The food at the restaurant was good. There is limited space for truck campers and vans but plenty of cabanas. The gps coordinates are not correct, the place is closer to towards the beach!

Great few days at Pepes.
Camped in our truck camper next to the common area with access to electricity.
Clean facilities, nice people, restaurant on site, surfboard rental, 15 min walk to the beach.

Stayed in the cabanas for a week. Loved it! There's mosquito nets over the beds and fans for the hit nights. The bathrooms are shared, very clean, great showers. Pepe is a very nice guy. Highly recommend to stay here!
