Very nice location. About 5 pullouts right above the mighty Ohio River 😲. Free.99 with 14 day max stay. This is a great location 🙏

all spots full, but parked my truck camper in cul-de-sac parking, even though it's marked as no camping, I just can't drive any more today..

very quiet. walked the trail to the right down to the water. trail is slightly overgrown and there is poison ivy..

Report Check-In

Only a single spot remaining when I arrived. Very easy roads even in the dark. Trees completely blocked the view of the river when I was there, walk less than a minute down the trail to the left of the campground and there is a platform with nice views.

I had one bar of AT&T and Verizon, usable but slow.

Great little campsite in Hoosier National Forest! Level parking spots for campervans, pit toilets, fire pits and two hikes from the campsite. Easily accessible with our LBW campervan!

Very quiet relaxing.
The drive in was paved road all the way in just a little narrow in spots. If you have a high rig you my scrap top low trees branches but believe 13 ft. Very peaceful area. Their are only 5 spot. Did notice a few pull off on the way in and around the camp sites. I can and will say there is room to turn around when you get all the way to campsites. There are some clearing for solar. The area is quite relaxing and quiet. There are no amenities other than a pit toilet. It does say 14 day limit.

Stopped for one night. Nice secluded free camping. Like others have stated only 5 sites and pit toilet, however it was really clean. I was the only one there. Would have stayed another night but temperatures are going to be dropping. I will be back for sure. Also if you have the time hike down to the river from the trail right behind the campsites.

Small campground. 5 sites that are kinda close together. The campsites are cleared but each one has some shade.

Report Check-In

Small campground, just 5 sites, spread out nicely though. Right on the Ohio River. Tents or RV’s. No hookups. No water. Vault toilet. Free as of now (September of 2022).

Stayed one night here in site 5. There were two other people camping, one in a tiny home and another 5th wheel. Nice trail around the site, clean pit toilets and trash receptacle. The fire pit placement is a bit wonky for this site but the price is right. Had 2-3 bars LTE. Would stay again.

Was a great free campsite. Spots are fairly close to each other but for a free campsite right next to a trail and overlook with tables, fire pits, clean vault toilet, paved level spots it’s worth it. My kids loved the trail and seeing the overlook and the waterfall.

Great spot. 5 sites. Fire rings and pit toilet. No trash service. The campground is still free as of May 2022.

gorgeous little campground with five mostly level spots (only one big enough for a Class A) and a brand new pit toilet. infrequent boat noise from the Ohio River, access to which is possible via hiking trail down the cliffside. rangers come by daily, and mentioned this would be a paid site as of autumn 2021.

Great little place right on the Ohio river. Very well kept. Pit toilet, tables, fire rings. Only five sites but well worth the windy road to get here. Very quiet on a Tuesday. Short walking trail, steep, to the river.
