Description

We stayed in this huge, abandoned parking lot in our big skoolie for almost a week & changed brake pads, rotors, & did some carpentry etc. A few semi trucks come & go throughout the night but otherwise quiet. The city park is also very nice with a 1 mile walking path, bbq pits, water hydrants where we filled our tanks. Park is just a few miles down the road.

Latest Check-Ins

Stayed here as opposed to risking Walmart due to signs/reports. It is a very large lot. Just watch the driveways. Some are fine, some have HUGE holes. Also some serious holes in lot will cause damage to low clearance rigs/tow vehicles. I choose carefully and stayed over east, but I am sure many parts are fine if you watch out. High traffic area with Highway 285 and the interstate. Some trucks use the lot overnight too. Not attached to a major truck stop brand so not too busy/crowded. Not particularly quiet, but it can do. Recommend a white noise app.

Report Check-In

Opted to stay here vs Walmart due to comments about their policy . Due to high winds we needed to find a place .It’s a huge parking lot , be aware though, that there are huge potholes by the entrances to maneuver around and the area is filthy with trash . Most trucks stayed parked good distance away but one decided to park next to use, idle all night and set his alarm off . We moved across the lot

Report Check-In

As described, behind the Chevron station - between Chevron & WalMart. Several truckers here now, seems quiet though.

Report Check-In

Huge abandon parking lot. Close to Walmart, gas stations and restaurants
