If you arrive at the "Stone Buddha", keep following the road to the right.
Pass the few stone-workshops, and at the end you'll find a nice patch of grass and gravel. Reasonably flat, though blocks are handy.
from here it's an easy walk to the "Stone Buddha". In fact, you can see it from here. (100 mtr. as the crow flies).
