I checked place in Santa Barbara, but since I am a woman alone on a bicycle, i didn't feel well to pitch my tent there, close to the street, so I asked an fisherman where i can go to feel safe and more comfortable. He showed me this place.
It is very big plateau, between village and the small river. Locals use this place as a picnick area but it is very clean, you will find bags for trash on the trees. Very quiet at night also during the day (but it was Covid time).
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
a second day of ny staying many locals camw for a bbq. qith some i made friendship, but around 8.30 p.m. when that group left, to my tent came a woman from anothwr group. she told me that i have to leave cause man plan to robber me. sunce i do not speal Spanish, i asked her to use translator and she twuced confirmed the same. than i packed my panniers and a tent and i left thst place. found a hosteria near supermercado for 10.000 single person room. so maybe is not safe to stay at this place.
