not the cleanest hostel but dog friendly, has parking with no height restriction and is next to the Land Rover mechanic.
the breakfast is just a sandwich, some cereals and instant coffee.
if we'd stay here again, we would not take a room but camp in the car. its a quiet enough neighborhood for that.

Very nice hostal, with a good kitchen, commun area and bathroom. As we have a tent over the car, they let us stay in the parking area for $15.000 per day (simple breakfast included). The parking area os small (for 3 cars) and I dont believe that it is possible to fit vans or motor homes.

Initially we were told that no camping was offered, but we persuaded Humberto, the host who runs the place with his brother and sister in law to let us camp in the backyard. Although the backyard is large it has space for one car only, because of trees near the entrance. Hosts are friendly and helpful. We were allowed to use their washing machine. We used the large living room and had wifi and electricity. We had an excellent time and ended up staying for 5 nights instead of the 3 originally planned. Negotiated CLP 15,000 (2 adults, camper). They probably will allow future campers, but it is wise to call ahead.

All options (private room / shared bath / dorms) available. dogs allowed. Street and private parking. there is a garden out back. haven't asked about camping but may be permitted.
