Gravel area, separated from road by a few bushes. We stopped here as it was getting dark. Trucks parked further along.

We stayed here overnight as it was getting dark and we totally underestimated the road and wouldn’t make it to Puno. People there are nice, good facilities with toilet, toilet paper, soap, cold shower and llamas. A bit noisy at night (trucks). Nobody was asking for money.
Report Check-InSpent one night here as it was getting dark. There are not many options on this highway. We felt safe as there were many truckers stay the night here and you are very close to the peaje. There is also a street light. If you are a light sleeper, you may not get too much sleep as the trucks are very loud all night. It’s definitely a one night type of spot.
