Nice and easy, close to the border. 4 of us room with AC with huge pool and restaurant was 40 USD and they are pet friendly. you could possibly ask about camping, it was really hot so we checked in :)

A bit run down but allowed pets. Restaurant was closed. Security guard at gate. Charged us 1,300 L for double for two people. Room has AC.
Report Check-Inthis place is extremely run down. when we got here, we couldn't find anyone for about 10 minutes and had to wake the guard up. he took us in and attempted to charge us about $65 for a room. we asked to see it. the bedspreads were mismatched and dirty, bugs were plentiful, there was mildew and possibly black mold on a portion of the wall, the shower was broken down and the curtain was dirty. it is literally falling apart. we asked if we could pay to stay in the parking and we're told that was not allowed. the security guard/ Hotel front desk man was adamant that his boss would not allow anyone to stay in the parking lot. there was only one car here besides us. Even though it is 10:00 p.m. and we are exhausted, we left.

Very good location at junction of 1 & 5. We stopped here after a long drive from La Ceiba. The hotel is very large inside with breezy wide terra cotta tiled hallways and an open air pool area. It was a perfect place to cool off after a long hot day, and the restaurant food was average good.
Report Check-In400 lp for 2 and a truck camper - super expensive! We had no choice and was already 8pm so we stayed. Wifi I. The lobby, clean bathrooms and dark (almost no light) showers. Only good thing about this place is: Security (friendly fella) on site!
Report Check-InNice place for overnighting before the border crossing Honduras-Nicaragua. We paid 950 Lempiras for a "Double Room" which actually had 3 beds and would easily have accommodated 4-5 people. So the place is especially cheap if you are more people. Rooms were clean and had good A/C. Nice pool area but very loud music at the pool. You can't hear it from the rooms though. Free wifi which is difficult to connect to but once connected is really fast. Gated and secured parking lot. Didn't ask about camping in the parking lot.
