arrived on a Tuesday 3pm. workers were really kind and showed us where we can park for the night without disturbing them. stayed for 2 nights.
got bitten from a lot of insects while washing the salt and sand off from the car (only a few mosquitos amongst them). but only during that time
with our 5.6 m long van and a bit of clearance we had no problem, but I assume the place down the river is not recommended for big rigs. closer to the road there should be sufficient space for any vehicle.
Very nice spot. Right next to the river. As stated, going to the coast, on the left beforr the bridge. No cell service. Some mosquitoes during the night. River is fresh but so nice.
High clearance to go down but you can stop before and walk to the river
entrance a little before, left of the bridge.
there we're stones at the entrance. we put them away. then came small two children and were courious. we told them, we just want to spring in the water and then leave. they stayed.
beautiful and very cold river. last part needs a high clearance!!!
