Something not right?

Description

Driving north in Yukon, I did not like the open gravel area to the south so I kept driving a few miles/kilometers passed Braeburn, where a sign showed a “photo rest stop.” Across the road from this stop is a gravel road that leads to an incredible open area. It is near a creek so I listened to running water all night. There are fire rings. The road is near, but rather than being a nuisance, it actually provided comfort because this place feels like I’m in the “nature of Yukon!!”
I highly recommend this place to travelers in the area if you’re looking to park for a night. It was great to me anyway.
Cheers all!

Hidden from the Highway, big flat area. Easy access. Good for one or more night.

Beautiful place. We spend 2 days, on the left hidden spot. Nice firepit, not far from the creek and almost no mosquitos.

A few excellent spots exactly as described.

Access road is directly across from the camera rest stop sign. Hidden from the highway. Short path to small river.

Toilets across the road at the rest stop

we didn't want to sleep in Whitehorse so we stopped here for the night. it was a nice flat gravel spot, close to the highway but you aren't visible from it! you can hear the truck but not much traffic at night
