Unfortunately it's true. They don't fill foreign bottles anymore.
They do not refill foreign gas bottles anymore. They told us to go to Coyhaique.
Report Check-InThis place no longer fills tanks or bottles, only sells full bottles.
Report Check-InFinally! a place where we could fill up our US gas bottle. without even leaving the car, this guy in a shining armor shows up with an adaptor. We couldn't find anywhere else to fill up south of here, not even in Coyhaique.
Report Check-InThe place is still open. We filled our 8 kg US gas bottle in 5 min for 9500 pesos. Fast and easy. They had the adapter.
Report Check-InClosed.

Report Check-Inwell, looks like prices are going down - just paid 6500 pesos for 18 liters. US bottle. they close at 10 pm and are open on Saturdays
Report Check-InSuccess! Super quick, easy and helpful. 3,000 pesos for 5.5 liters of gas into our Argentinian bottle. Also do US!
Report Check-InThey definitely fill US propane bottles with their adaptor. Older guy no glasses filled it straight away, no problems, only 7300 for 15 litres and it only took him 10 minutes . Prices on board were different. Not sure how it was so Cheap! Worth the detour on way to Coyhaique.
Report Check-InThey can and did fill our US propane bottle! Came in the morning first and they tried with their adapter but the guy (who was nice but a bit inexperienced) said there was a leak in the adapter. After reading how difficult it is to fill a US bottle in Coyhaique and the whole region we gave it another go after lunch. This time the boss (friendly guy with glasses) connected it and all was fine. 8500 pesos for 7 liter bottle. Maybe the only place in the region so give it a go!! Nobody said anything about the rules etc
Report Check-InVery helpfull and friendly, but they can NOT fill german bottles also NOT with a US-Adaptar.
