Bush camp near the Cueva de las Manos historical site. Visible from the road, but far enough away and very quiet as the only trafffic is for the historical site. Field with some grass. On two sides wind shelter from hills, at other sides nice view over countryside, but no view of the gorge. No facilities.

Report Check-InA couple of flattish spots for small campervan. No facilities but great moonrise and sunrise. Some shelter from wind. Building is currently under construction and open, so sheltered from wind to cook in.
Report Check-InSuch a great spot that someone has decided to build a home here! Water tanks, concrete and wood home. Sort of fancy for the middle of nowhere. Pick up truck in driveway. They probably don’t welcome campers to their front yard. If I’m wrong, please update.
Report Check-Inthey are building something here. i guess some sort of camping/building with toilets etc. lot of trash and building material. no wind protected places that are level for a camper. we didnt stay and drove back to Bajo caracoles to spent the night
Report Check-InPerfect place before or after visit of the cueva.
Nice spot, calm, stunning view and sunset. No wind when we were here. Away from any human by dozens of km (except the visitor center). Had the visit of one guanaco and two nandoos. Lots of squeletons, nice !
Best place during our patagonia tour.
Very quiet and nice place and some shelter for the wind. We arrived here at afternoon, visit the Cueva de Las Manos next day.
Report Check-InNice place close to the cuevas de los manos. We went there after our tour (18h).
We had a really quiet night, a bit windy but ok.
Report Check-InNice place, quiet and not so windy but cold at night. There was a guanaco skeleton which made us feel in the Far West. this place is not really hidden from road but it is far from it and there is 2 cars per hour... Enjoy the silence !
Report Check-InStayed 2 nights. Parked up the hill near the water tanks. This camp should be named the running toilet camp. The water in the tanks sound like a toilet has water running in it that doesn’t stop.
We did lift the lid of a small water cement box. Could get water for camp. Didn’t drink but showered and cleaned with it. Put the lid back. Animals come here to drink and they might fall in i guess
Was lucky with wind I guess. It wasn’t bad where we were
Report Check-InGreat spot for the night after the cave tour. A bit windy but not unbearable. No cell reception.
Report Check-InPretty sheltered place, good for one night if you visit la Cueva at the last visit at 7pm.
Report Check-InThere are some fire pits in the plane, but we followed the track a little bit up the hill. Level spot, fire pit, too. Thanks to “de einder voorbij”- we also followed your tracks through Africa
Report Check-InGreat spot, slightly sheltered from the wind. Spent the night here and managed to cook supper after visiting the caves at 5-6pm (last tour is 6-7pm). Well worth the 29k rubble road drive.
