Something not right?

Description

After the sign to the lake, take the steep dirt road on the right down to the lake. Two quiet parkings just by the lake, at the pier, nice view, fishing spot, partial protection against wind. 20m away from the pier, bigger parking area, for 8 to 10 cars overlooking the lake.

Weak 3G from Entel

Beautiful BUT don’t come on a weekend or public holiday. Locals park on both sides of the TINY gravel road and it’s super super dangerous to drive through, almost scraping or hitting other cars. It was also impossible to make a U turn unless you drive a few km on.

Report Check-In

Quiet, noone else around despite being Saturday evening (7pm). Weak 3G from Entel.
Parquing area for 8-10 cars.
Beach 50m away, just walk to the end of the parking lot and take trail.
(I did not spend the night, just wanted to add a couple of pictures and some info).

good place to spend the day at the lake. wouldn't recommend to stay the night at the parking. we did it a Sunday night and it was busy by locals getting their boat out of the water until midnight. if you sleep in a tent, there is a huge grassy spot directly on the lake. people spend the day on this grassy beach, no one at night. seems very nice for days without wind!

Nice place with view over the lake. The street isn‘t steep but very bumpy... downhill is no problem but we couldn‘t drive fast enough to get well uphill again - even after a rainy night not recommended with 2wd only.

Nice spot. Spectacular view. Two or three Sprinter size vans can fit easily. Pretty level. The road is not very steep, any type of car can do it.

Great fishing spot. We were rocked by the wind and rain at night, but nothing we couldn't sleep through. We had clear skies in the morning so we went down to a little path that led to a beach and enjoyed the sun on the dock. Great spot 👍

Report Check-In

Very beautiful place looking out over the lake. The area is really more of a parking area for the boat ramp and dock. When we arrived it was a busy place with folks packing up after fishing and people leaving some kind of party at a house near the dock. By around 8pm most folks had left and we had the place to ourselves. Also the wind rocked out van pretty hard during the night, not much shelter available. However, the view makes up for everything.

Good place to stop. Nice and clean lake. Lots of levelled parking for multiple vehicles any size. The road down there is not that steep. No facilities
