Description

Situated in the Village of Paso del Ingenio, it is mainly an aqua park with pools and a natural fossa where 5 small falls will give you a hydro-massage. Water temp acceptable. On this 10 hectares (25 acres) they offer little houses or cabañas as well as ample lawn for camping. If you want electricity you have to park near distribution center. Clean pools, toil and showers, cold water, no wifi, restaurant. Nature is beautiful and the place is secure. A 15 meter high fall in the village.70 pesos/night,(very cheap)
Within a km on the same dirt road you will find 3 more balnearios that offer camping. Don't know much about their fares: San Miguelito, Ribera del Prado and Pancho Lopez, the latter has beautiful river pools and you can connect. 55 pesos/night.
All thes places are in a beautiful green quiet nature, lots of birds around. Nice base to visit other villages towards the ocean and many other beautiful fall in the region: Salto Eyipantla, El Tula, El tucan etc.

Enjoyed this place a lot! It was very crowded on the weekend but we had fun with the people music and football games. Monday was quiet and peaceful. Would definitely go back. The guys that work there are super friendly and when we asked if we could pick a mango they came over with one. Also have us some avocados. 70MXN per person

Typical Mexican balneario with colorful concrete pools (1x for adults and 1x for children) plus some cascades from the little river nearby ending in a semi natural pool.
Lots of baños & showers available which were ok clean.
When we intended to stay, they were cleaning all the pools so not really possible to swimm for us :-( that‘s why we got the day use for 20 pesos pp instead of 35 pesos pp. For camping they still charge 70 pesos pp.
The road from the highway will be paved within the next couple of weeks they said (right now gravel road)

Beautiful place for visiting the falls / el tucan cascada / roca partida. Calm, quiet, people are very nice and there is a lot of place for swimming / bbq - no wifi

Correction of the GPS coordinate and you must to pass via Paso del Ingenio, the other road is very bad

Report Check-In

Nice campground, as described by othes, large grassy area in open or under trees, flush toilets, cold showers, electrical outlets at bano/shower building. It was offseason so we paid 50 pesos/person to camp for the night and to swim the next day in the pool with five small waterfalls. Really nice and refreshing. We were there Monday night/.pTuesday morning and had the place to ouselves. Nice owners too. Drive to village of Paso del Ingenio then follow signs along the road.

we stayed here for 1 night before we went to La Jungla campsite. The waterfalls are spectacular and so refreshing after a day of driving! the campsite itself is nice and grassy with clean bathrooms. he tried to charge us more than 70pesos per person but we talked him down to 70per person per night. there would be a possibility of electricity and water but we didn't need it this time.
