Still a super nice place. We stayed there only for lunch, to escape the heat. We had our own stuff and they let us use their dinner room and bathroom for free. They also have some super nice fruits.

This is a great stop on the trek to Choquequirao. We stopped here just for lunch on our first day hiking, and then we camped and ate dinner here on our last night before heading back up to Capuliyoc early the following morning. Easily the best food here out of all the restaurants along the trail. The campsite was also very clean with plenty of flat spaces for tents.
This was a great place to stay the last night so that we could get an early start up to Capuliyoc in the morning. That part of the trail is the hottest and most sun exposed. Start as early as possible! We left Chiquisca at 5:30am, and it took us about 3 hours to reach Capuliyoc. The first hour and a half was cool and shady, but the second hour and a half was nearly full sun, with only small bits of shade.

There are two different sites here. We stayed at Llamayoq wasi. Super friendly couple running the place, Jimena and Rocco.
We paid 25sol per bed (seems to be a flat rate in the whole area for a bed) for the hostel. Food was best we had on the trek, really nice and big portions.

One step before the river we stayed here for one night with our tent.
We paid 5 soles per tent.
If you want a bed it’s better to book in advance, we met ladys who didn’t have space. The owner has finally finded a room to helped them.
You can find a little shop and restaurant.

Stayed in here because my feet got bruised all the way down. While my partner going up to the ruin, I stay. Paid 15 soles per night for a basic room. Toilet and cold shower available. Although the staff isn’t talkative, he is a nice guy. I cooked my own food, so I don’t know the food price in here but as I heard only 2 options available. ‘rise & egg’ and ‘pasta with red sauce’. I also have water purified with me, so I don’t know the price neither. On the weekend, there was a bunch of teeneger stay in here and they were super noisy. It was so calm and quite on the night before.

We stayed here the first night of the trek, nice flat grassy campsite especially if you go behind the building and up the steps, great view of the valley and mountains. paid 8S for rice, egg and salad with camomile tea. Big enough portion and the staff were really friendly. We really liked this campsite.

First camping when you arrive....Nice place but staff owners not friendly (looks like they have had enough of receiving trekers.) paid 5s camping and paid an awful amount of 8s for a small plate of pasta and they charged us for mate. I recommend to walk 5 mins more and there is another campsite friendlier or futher down the river "playa", the breakfast was awesome with super friendly staff (they serve breakfast, lunch and diner). In consequence, do not stay here!

Nice place returning from (or possible for going to) ruins. S5 per tent to camp. Beers were S12-14. Just to avoid confusion, Mirador is the last place you can drive to. From there it is hiking only.
