Description

Sleeping in vehicle in secure parking at back of hotel 500rp. Room 1000rp.
Place was generally dirty. Access to 1 dirty swat toielt in garden.
Police escort tried to insist I pay for their dinner. Asking 3 times. Which I refused.
Manager then came to my vehicle after I had already gone to bed and tried to insist I take a room. I slept in my vehicle anyway.
The "Police" man (plain clothes and private car) that met me at the edge of town I guess gets some sort of kick back from bringing you here.
Only stay here if desparate. If doing the route from Quetta to Taftan again. I would push through to Taftan.

Slept in our van behind hotel. Paid 500 rp. Owner started with 800. Like comments hotel is horrible but if you are able to stay in your van it’s fine. Safe and we had very nice guards. No asking for payment of diner but next day the Levi’s wanted us to pay for there diesel. About 30 euro’s. We refused.

We stayed overnight in the area behind the hotel (veterinary hospital, very dirty) as our car was too big to park in the yard of the hotel. The manager told us that he would be the owner of the land and wanted to charge us with 500 Rupees. Locals as well as police told us that this is not true so we paid nothing to the hotel. Levies were sitting beside our car the whole night.
Hotel is terrible dirty!

Report Check-In

Arrived at the hotel first and was offered two double rooms: better standard for 2000 (still dirtier than usual) and normal for 1000 (filthy bed and broken smelly toilet). The guy spoke almost no English and was not willing to negotiate at all. He did not want to show us other rooms neither so we went to the police station. There we met 3 other tourists. A plain clothes policeman with very good English informed us that they cannot let us stay overnight at the station and assured us that at Al Dawood rooms are at 400 rupees and he would arrange for a discount. When we were driven back to the hotel, we were told the same prices as previously. In the end we stayed 5 people in on of the VIP rooms for 2500. The room was slightly cleaner than others and had hot water. We ate the dinner there which was surprisingly good. Biryani for 250 and dhal for 200. The manager was a bit rude st first and wanted to renegotiate the room rate later in the evening and approached us to pay for the dinner for our 3 guards (same at breakfast). We declined as we honestly had almost no money left. There is a shop where you can change currency nearby but the rates are terrible.

We paid 500 Rupie for 2 people sleeping in the car. Got a room key for taking shower and using the toilet.

We arrived here as a group of four very late in the evening (1am). We were allowed to sleep in our roof tent on the car (1200r) in the parking lot or in a room (2500r). Gards secured us all night. Breakfast was included.

We slept two nights there (no choice, we had to wait one entire day). As we didn't want to pay and it was not possible to camp, we had a room for free. The place is really dirty and gloomy.

Good and safe place to stay. Toilet Asian standards clean(have seen a lot worse in Iran), quiet at night on the parking, little garden to hang around, good WiFi and view policeman around to guard us. You can pay 500 rupees and sleep in your car/rooftent or pay if you bargain a bit 800 for a room(not very clean we heard from other traveler). We didn’t had rupees so paid in Euro(€5). Guys from police came in the evening to ask our follow travelers if they wanted to pay their diner. They offered them some soup but they just wanted money so they refused to pay.
The policeman in the hotel created a document with all the passport and visa information so we didn’t had to fill in the book at every checkpoint on our way to Quetta, very convenient. Overall we found it a nice place to stay!

Levies brought us to the hotel. They asked 3000rp for one room. We tried to negotiate but they wouldn't give in so we ended up going to the police station to stay the night there.
