Mexico
We paid 260 pesos and had a clean, comfortable room, hot water, slow but ok wifi, friendly staff, secure parking for bikes, nice small town to walk around in, lots of little restaurants and taco stands nearby.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
This is Hotel Ryo Centro, not Hotel Ryo, another hotel in the same town.
We paid 550 pesos for a room (#2) with a double and a single bed for 2 people. No A/C, decent hot water, half decent wifi. One window had no screen on it, the other window's screen was not attached at the bottom. We were given a fan which helped keep air moving.
The shower will complete flood the whole bathroom area, so be prepared for a wet floor. Fortunately, it did dry quickly.
Secure parking in a gated lot around back large enough for practically any vehicle.
It’s 450 now for a double room for two people, bit pricey for what it is. Town is nice though :)
Report Check-InThe hotel is still open, we were the only guests there for the night... a very basic but decent place to stop if taking the scenic road between Oaxaca and Puebla (I highly recommend that road!)
Safe place to park the motorcycles (or car/truck/RV) and a good place for tortas around the corner (chips)
A shower curtain would have been nice along with a hook or 2 in the bathroom but there was hot water, the place was clean and... last but not least, it was quiet at night and we slept well!
Not a bad hotel. They charged us 400 pesos for a room with two beds. We tried to negotiate but no luck. There's secure parking behind the hotel. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, water was hot.
