Solid spot. Almost nobody here but it’s mid summer, very hot. Lots of porta potties. Great views.

Report Check-In

Great, beginner friendly camp spot! Lots of open space, porta potties, beautiful panoramic view. Easy driving distance to Arches NP.

Report Check-In

THIS IS NOT A FREE BLM. Since 2021 there is a 15$ fee per day for this BLM probably because there are pit toilets and a big garage disposal. Pay online or at box which is about 0,3 miles from entrance.

Report Check-In

No longer free after 5/15/22! See Utah Raptor State Park website:
https://stateparks.utah.gov/parks/utahraptor/park-fees/
$15 per vehicle per site.
All lands between Hwy 191 and Courthouse Wash are Utah Sate Lands NOT BLM! "No Camping" signs posted east of Courthouse Wash.

Report Check-In

Paid camping starting May 15th. Not that surprising given how busy this place is. It’s a nice area, the views are good and there are tons of spaces all down the road - with that said, we’re packed in pretty tight here and I feel like I’m choking on all the dust (30mph winds). 1-2 bars LTE Verizon.

Report Check-In

Beautiful spaces available, as described. Be aware that signs have been posted that the first, private section on the Willow Springs road road (with porta-pottie toilets) will not be free as of May 15th for the 2022 season. The free BLM sites with toilets is at the end of the road which is very washed out. They have started grading it, so some repair might have been done. Access to the dinosaur track site with vehicle, a bit far to hike.

Report Check-In

Easy to get to in the RV. Good cell service (AT&T and Verizon 5G). Quiet. Stayed 2 nights.

Report Check-In

Awesome spot to camp! The ground is mainly rock and there are a few flat spots but a lot of it is uneven. There are porta potties and they are very clean with the DNR coming a few times a week to clean them. I got 2 bars Verizon and the sunsets were amazing.

Report Check-In

So nice, a ton of Vanlifers, dog friendly and fire friendly, lots of clean bathrooms. A little noisy but great for free place to be in Moab

Report Check-In

Quite a few folks even for the winter but the weather was pleasant. Everyone had lots of room, and were friendly.

Report Check-In

Hey, Willow Springs Road? Mary Poppins called she wants her wind back.

Report Check-In

Great BLM spot right outside the park. Got in a bit late and found a level spot amongst the other campers. Smooth road, good vibes, lots of room and got to the main entrance of arches in 15 minutes.

Report Check-In

LOTS of space and any size rig. Some roads you'll need a 4x4, but there is easy access for others. There are vault toilets and port-a-potties everywhere. Decent cell coverage with my Tmobile. There are some OHV, but it's not annoying, and people seem super respectful out here.

Report Check-In

Lots of spots with many spur roads. See rigs of all sizes but probably need to be mindful of where you drive, lots of sand. Good Verizon LTE. Don't leave your garbage behind!

Report Check-In

We spent two nights here in our rented camper van. Fantastic views and plenty of space. Great AT&T phone service. Clean porta potty’s.

Report Check-In

Great area for camping! Nice views, road isn’t rough coming and going- it’s well maintained. Close to Arches NP and the center of Moab.

Report Check-In

BLM. Lots of spots. Long road. Some private. Many fire pits

Report Check-In

Great BLM spot with lots of pull offs for parking/camping. Pretty busy so I had to drive down a ways to find a spot at 4p on a Monday. Saw a few porta potties on the road. Beautiful view of the mountains!! Road a little rough going in but not bad. My old rig made it fine driving slowly. Pretty good Verizon service. Would come back again!

Report Check-In

Beautiful Little spot, off the main drag, somewhat private, nice 360 views, close to porto toilet, fire pit, flat, 1 to 2 bars verizon, was visited by cows :)
5 stars!

Report Check-In

Still lots of camping here and there are porta potties dispersed around the area . Great free location. Can be crowded and noisy but it’s close to all the adventures and free !

Report Check-In

Very busy but free dispersed camping near Arches and Canyonlands. Good for the night but expect to have lots of company.

Report Check-In

Got in at 3pm on a Friday, this place was PACKED.
All the way through. Too many people for our liking and went up the road to Klondike bluffs to get some space.

Report Check-In

Tons of spots down this road - I went to one of the pullouts about a quarter mile in and had full service t mobile, nice neighbors, a great view and didn’t hear anything from the highway (although it was still visible)

Report Check-In

Wonderful spot to camp! There’s a few port-a-potties scattered around and plenty of spots to stop and camp. I have AT@T and I got service near the main road, and I also climbed up onto some of the smaller hills and got two bars. Only scrub brush a no shade. Pack out waste. GORGEOUS views!! I made it back fine in my Honda CR-V. Quite a few other campers.

Report Check-In

Great spot. Not much for shade and can a little windy from the wide open space, but that’s what you get in a desert. Amazing star gazing though. Glad I picked this one. Road is a little rough, just go slow and you’ll be fine. And very clean porta-potties.

Report Check-In

Wide open with lots of spots to pick from. Almost every spot had rock burn rings already made. There’s are portable toilets set up. No water or electric. Only down side was there was gnats during the day.

Report Check-In

Free camping as stated with views of Arches NP & La Sal Mts.

Report Check-In

As described, a bit busy on a Saturday night and some noise of quads and motorcycles, but honestly the view is great and we could find a nice little spot on the side. Perfect for one night or to explore Arches and Canyonlands, if you don't mind the company. I guess it gets really busy in summer, but october was nice. Portable toilets extremely clean!!

Report Check-In

Gorgous sitr lots of place very quiet
easy access

Report Check-In

great spot for being so close to moab and arches. there's tons and tons of spots. 14 day limit. has toilets. there was no cell service where I stayed, but I went in as deep as I could to get a buffer from the crowded area closer to the freeway.

Report Check-In

Route de blm avec plein d emplacements pour bivouaquer.

Report Check-In

as described. pretty busy but spots were available. little to no shade. big rigs, trailers, tents all around. remember to secure your tent! a few blew away in the wind.

Report Check-In

Right outside of Arches and off the highway. Easy to get to with so many spacious camping spots along the dirt road. Definitely recommended if you want to save some money while visiting the area. These are pack in and pack out sites. Remember to bring everything back out with you and help pick up what others leave behind.

Report Check-In

Secluded campsites, some on a road with large potholes, but our ram promaster city handled it fine. There are bathrooms on one of the side roads and porta potty’s on the main road. 3 bars Verizon LTE. 2 bars T mobile LTE. There are fire rings as well. Feels much safer than dalton road. Slightly populated but lots of spots.

Report Check-In

Like previously mentioned this place is great. Road is in good shape (June 2019), there are plenty of spots, and it’s quite close to Arches and Canyonlands! Cell service on Verizon was LTE1-2.

Report Check-In

Miles de lugares para acampar. Paramos aquí una noche. Increíble lugar con vistas hermosas, se puede hacer fuego. Máximo de estadía 14 días. Gratis. Muchos overlanders hacen noche aquí cerca de los parques nacionales moab

Report Check-In

I honestly felt bad for staying here, it’s being totally loved to death. Super crowded, fell asleep to the hum of a generator and flood lights from a nearby RV. I wish they’d charge 2-3$ a night just for upkeep. If you stay here please be respectful and quiet as everyone is in close quarters (and if you have an RV please be respectful and understand your generator ruins the peacefulness of a place for everyone else)

Report Check-In

One of my favorite places to stay. Getting quite crowded. But a friendly reminder to leave no trace, noticing a lot more trash than used to be here. Pack it in, pack it out!!

Report Check-In

Slept 4 nights there. Went out to visit Arches and Canyonlands each day. Convenient and quiet at night.
Lots of space. It fills up at night with overnighters that leave early in the morning.
Some portapotties and one clean pit toilet that I saw.
It can be dusty with all the OHVs passing by.

Report Check-In

Plenty of dispersed camping 1/2mile from hwy191 & drive further back for different views & a pit toilet all the way in the back. Dozens of camping spots to choose from. Many RV & trailers made it in(see photos). Rained a few days before with passable roads. Roads in the back and turnout maybe red mud on rainy days.
Cell coverage: Sprint spotty EXTLTE
Verizon 3G-LTE3
Best reception on high ground with views of surrounding features.

Report Check-In

We spent 3 nights here, great base to explore around. There were so many people it felt like a real camping/RV park.

Report Check-In

Nombreux emplacements pour RV, tentes ou autres a 10 min des parc d’arches et Canyonlands . Calmes, feux de camps, plats, beaucoup d’autres voyageurs avec vous mais vous trouverez toujours une place

Report Check-In

Free BLM. Very Nice. Ok for RV, our is 23 feet. Lot of people but quiet at night. Beautiful view.

Report Check-In

nice view, lot of campers, easy drive, big place with a lot of spots

Report Check-In

Probably the best BLM spot so far! Plenty of space and clean ToiTois all over the place. Slept here for 2 nights.

Report Check-In

Very nice quiet spot with a porta-potty nearby. Faint highway noise, but barely noticeable. Clean site and biking trails nearby. 2-3 bars of T-mobile 4G.

Report Check-In

Still a great place to spend a night or two when you are visiting Arches NP / Canyonlands NP. Lot pf people, other Vans, RV, tents but there is enough space for everybody! Keep clean! Enjoy!

Report Check-In

Another night here. Really a great place to camp near Arches NP and north Canyonlands NP. All you need in Moab about 20 km south.

Report Check-In

Free and quiet place to camp. A lot of space all along the gravel road. Low ATT reception.

Report Check-In

Free BLM campsite near to the Arches.
A lot of RV and tents.
Near to a trail for moto cross and 4x4 but still quiet.
Pit toilet.

Report Check-In

Very good BLM place with a lot of spaces but the night we were there there was a lot of people so you don’t get a lot of privacy and the sites are a bit crowded. But free and close to the NP near by

Report Check-In

Perfect spot to spend the night. It seems that a few Rvs stay here full time. Talk with workers doing the road among the spots, so friendly! Great view, quite cold at night cos of the wind.

Report Check-In

recommend this place! A lot of spots. toilet and dixie at some points. we liked the spots to the right between little trees. still busy end of october.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Just fantastic, best place ever and free!

Report Check-In

As described, good spot with cell service

Report Check-In

Really nice open land with some bushes. Tons of space if you don't mind going down some of the sandy or bumpy tracks. Really enjoyed this place.

Report Check-In

Best campground around Moab, just a few minutes from the city and it is beautiful and for free! You should take water with you and can take a shower for just 3$ in the hostel in Moab.

Report Check-In

Nice spot good view very hot !

Report Check-In

we spent two great nights here. the spot is beautiful, big and for free. we highly recommend it !

Report Check-In

lot of people but a lot of place. fire pit.
good place with tree

Report Check-In

Lot of people with RV's, Trailers and ATV's on that road. It was not easy to find a free site.

Report Check-In

A lot of people but so much space !

Report Check-In

An open area with free camping, the sign says to use established campsites only due to a lot of cactus in the area. Just a few miles out of Moab city center, Arches National Park and Canyonlands. Highly recommended.

Report Check-In

This is Willow Springs Rd. 14 day free BLM camping about 15 minutes outside of town close to Arches, Canyonlands and Dead Horse Point. There's room for rigs of all sizes. In the off season this place is pretty empty, but otherwise there are usually a ton of big RV's closer to the highway then smaller campers and tent campers spread out all over the rest of the place. Even when it's really crowded you can usually find your own little area.

Report Check-In

Dry camping in established sites. Free on blm land. Room for 6-8 full size Rv or trailers
