We had to stop here after the border on our way to Boquete. Really worn down. I don’t think any work has been done since the last reviews. Paid $10 to park outside the hostel. Everything is dirty and broken, there is scorpions in the bathrooms at night. I’d prefer the parking lot at Rey in David.
Report Check-In5 USD per person per night. Bit weird, looks like construction/renovation/break down going on (unclear which one), but there's actually no work going on. Quite some trash in the fields. Toilets and showers and the (dirty) pool.
Report Check-In5 USD per person. Camped at nice grassy field. Access to one room with clean restroom, shower and sink. Electricity in the room. Peter, the owner was very accommodating. Bar and restaurant also at place. Hostel dorms available.
Report Check-InVery cool place. We got to do a work exchange and got a free room for the night and helped out the very nice owner. Rooms were 25$. Comfy mattresses. Camping is 5$.
Report Check-InThis place is a bit run down. We paid 30$ for a room (2 adults and 2 children) and camping would have been the same price, which did not make sense to me. Anyway, when you have to stop...
Report Check-InGood spot for all sorts of overland vehicles. Large flat parking area, big grassy field for camping. Has kitchen, 2 small swimming pools and its own waterfall. NOTE: GPS location is wrong! The hostel is directly on the David-Boquete road, before where the GPS takes you. A quick turnoff on the right. (If you miss the turn, you should know that the road is 1-way so don't try to double back on it like we did.)
Report Check-InThere is plenty of space for vehicles of all shapes and sizes. And you can sleep in your vehicle, camp or book a hostel rooom (they all vary in price starting from $5 per person for camping up to $30 per night for a double room with a/c). There is a bar, a swimming pool and even a waterfall. It is on the outskirts of David heading towards Boquete however it seems quiet enough.
