Not great for big rigs. I'm about 24' and they wouldn't let me enter the lot due to length. Told me to park in the lot across the street, and I had to be a bit persistent at that lot, as well.
Other than that, it's a super helpful, friendly place.

As others have said, very fast, easy friendly process. I flew back a couple weeks previous and needed to extend my TIP match my passport stamp. fast and free. I'll just add that I did NOT need my vehicle present for the process, nor did my friend who did it a month before.

My TIP and visa for Guatemala was expiring on Aug 5. 2023. I went to Migración location showed in Ioverlander but they would not extend my visa as my passport had less than 6 mo to expiry. My new US passport will not arrive for another 3-4 weeks. I came here to look into options as my TIP will be expired by the time the passport arrives. For overstay I can pay 15Q penalty a day. I was not sure what I will have to do about my TIP. I did not want my car confiscated.
To get here you can park your car in the parking lot across the street. I have added the parking lot location to ioverlander

If you need to fly out of the country, leaving your vehicle behind, they allow vehicle storage for FREE. Gated, guarded and walking distance to the airport. Better yet, they postpone your TIP until you return.

I had stupidly lost my TIP and came here to sort It out and get an extension. The very friendly ladies there helped me out by getting a copy emailed over from the border where I had crossed, saving me 2 day round trip to Belize.

This is the place you can obtain a renewal of your temp import permit. For Guatemala. Notice you will meed to have a newer stamp on your passport in order for SAT to grant you an extention on your TIP.
