Latest Check-Ins

Great place to camp spontaneously! We arrived at 9am and there were only a few spots left that fit us two. Each campsite is $10/person and is shared between up to 6 people. If you’re visiting in the next few months just be aware that there’s flooding in Yosemite!! Camp 4 is open still but the campsites on the west side (sites 1-36) are pretty muddy but there’s still plenty of dry spots to camp there. If you arrive late I would check there first because the east side fills up much faster (because it’s a little nicer).

Stayed 2 nights in a snow storm. Great little place! We can imagine it is very alive during summer.

Technically a tent camping only but if you pay for the night you shouldn't have a problem sleeping in you van. May be different in high season.
We stayed 2 nights and had no issues. Its a self checkin in low season.
Quiet. Toilets and potable water on the camp site.
Amazing starry sky !

Sleeping in your Van is forbidden here! We asked the Ranger at the Campsite reservation office! You are only allowed to camp here in a tent! No overnight in your car. Sorry!
