The owners are absolutely nice, and the place is very soothing to spend the night. There is a sheltered area with a shower and toilet. Truly, it's a good spot for camping, and it's a project that we support.

We had a lovely night here. It was raining all evening so was really useful to be able to use the big insaka and covered kitchen are. Jaan and his partner are involved in a great project to provide counselling in the local area. Great to be able to support their work in a small way. I definitely recommend this place.

We had a lovely stay here. As we went in rainy season, it was great to be able to shelter under the huge palapa. The people are super friendly. For those who are not morning persons, there is an enthusiastic rooster who will help you be awake to see the sunrise.

For directions, the information given by einfachmaloffroad is very clear and gets you straight to the place.

What a nice place! Peaceful, lot of space to camp. There is also a sheltered setting area with power resource and clean ablutions. Jan, Roos and their team were very helpful and it is highly interesting to hear about their story and mission.

Oh, and you can pick, buy and (for the brutal ones) slaughter one of their chickens 😁😁😁

This place is perfect for a stopover before entering Lusaka.
Away from the main road, nice shower and drinking water.
It's a small farm, with some animals. Very pleasant.

Self-navigated with Google maps sattelite to get there, because it will give you bad directions.

Wonderful and relaxing place to stay. Very friendly owners who live here and work with & for the local people. Much to learn about their counselling and local organic farming projects from Jan and Daliso (the farm manager). Very clean toilet and Daliso even prepared hot water to shower for us. Small roofed kitchen block with running water available to prepare meals. Peaceful atmosphere in the middle of the grass land, traffic is heard only a little bit. Wonderful sunrise and sunset over the field. Watch out the curious two little cats who will love to explore your camper and food... Recommended to stay more than one night.

Get in contact with Jan who will direct you to find the right way to the farm:

Coming from Kabwe, turn right away from the street approx. 1km after Fig Tree Cafe (at-14.4989386, 28.3997849). You will cross a small bridge and immediately turn left again to follow the dirt track.

It is very quiet at night and the stars are amazing. Turkeys, chicken, sheep and horses will keep you accompany. If you like you can buy fresh, organic vegetables, eggs and (if available!) a chicken.

We do not have a fixed price. We would highly appreciate a donation that goes 100% towards realising the goal of Elyada Farm: restoring vulnerable people to emotional health and regenerating the soil and producing high quality, organic vegetables, meat and eggs. All profit of the Farm goes into the (equine) counseling center, so your contribution is more than welcome!
