Beautiful spot just outside Boulder. Sunset views.

Parked along pull out alond road at this location as we arrived after dark and only stayed over night. Next morning looked like you could easily drive down the dirt road in 2wd for more secluded spots.

I ended up parking in the turnout along the road and rim because my 2-wheel drive campervan has low clearance. Initially, there is very short section of the dirt road that is unlevel and has a couple rocks, but after that the road is good. I wish I could have driven in further, many beautiful sites along the rim. Most people probably won’t have a problem driving further.

Great spot on edge overlooking beautiful canyon. No cell service. AWESOME for sunset!!!

Nice spot for the night. Incredible view. Some other people in several spots around. Like everywhere in the area a lot of little flies at the moment. At the entrance to the hells backbone rd there are trash containers.

Great location and views! Paved road most of the way. A bit rough to get further back but we made it in a transit van. No Verizon cell service in our spot.

Drove to the second pull off dirt road once on Hells Backbone Rd. Stayed at the 4 or 5th site in maybe with an incredible view over the valley. Amazing spot! Views, level lots, open and peaceful. Saw a couple other people on the way in.

Stayed by the road instead of venturing farther just for the night.
There was someone in the first spot. Some rocks past that point. But seemed super cosy among the trees.

Past the Welcome sign (in the National Forest), you can stay anywhere on that road. Many pulloffs for overnighters. Did not search for nicer spot for longer stays.
