Latest Check-Ins

I believe this place is now called Goiien House. Very expensive place, but still one of the cheaper options in TDP (we paid $60 for a -cold- dorm bed and $20 for a simple main course). 20min walk from the park entrance.
Rooms are very cold at night, but they have nice fireplaces in the common areas and a decent (simple) breakfast. Also beautiful view in the morning

Report Check-In

Looks deserted, no one there. Drove further.

Report Check-In

At the reception they said us that it’s not possibile to camp there, neither sleeping in our own car in the parking was allowed.

Report Check-In

arrived around noon. The guy at the reception told us that it wasn't a campground anymore. so we could not camp. But if we wanted we could have a bed for 80 dollar pp.
We went on to camping pehoe.

Report Check-In

Entrance blocked for motor homes. We could stay there in front of the fence/side if the road. No camping toilets or water. Cost 5,000 pesos basically for nothing except WiFi. When we asked, they let us use the Goiienhouse toilet until 7.30pm. We considered a shower but decided against it when we heard the price: 5000 pesos per person on top of the camping fee. Staff was very nice, though. They were sorry and said they didn’t like the prices either. We did not stay.

We camped here for one night. It wasn't open yet but we were allowed to stay here. We could shower and go to the toilets from the Refugio Goiienhouse. It has stable and good internet. Also we had a good dinner here. We had a fantastic view and the Torres the next morning!

Report Check-In

Strange place with great view of the Torres. Flat area for camping and easy access for Land Rover with Caravan. Wind shelters for tents. Toilets clean but sad. Only potable water is in the toilets. No tap available for filing big rig water tank. Not a friendly feel.

Report Check-In

They want now 80 Dollar per bed in a dorm (375 Dollar for a private 3 bed room) plus 30 Dollars for diner which was canteen food without choice. We know the national park is expensive but here the price to quality ratio is very bad:
-No heating/ electricity during the day
-Loud Diesel engine next to the window which makes noise till 24:00 and beginning 6:30
- window didn't close properly
-towel was dirty

Worth of the room maybe 20 Dollars not more.
The other nights we stayed in the Pampa Lodge which was first class for nearly the same price (located in Rio Serrano)

Report Check-In

Asked the price and was told its US$125 for the dorm and a double $185 for breakfast and dinner. We camped out.

Report Check-In

Camping very very very expansive : 12000 por noche ....without hot shower (2000), no access to the kitchen (water in the toilet) and finally no protection for the wind ....

Bad place to be ...for the price too expensive!!!

Report Check-In

Stayed here for 1 night at the camping. 10.000 pesos per person. Just grass, toilet en showers. Not a refugio or kitchen. The people were not kind. Hot water wasnt working and the fixed it with an angey face for us. But the location, just a km before the entrance of the park is perfect. The view is also pretty good.

Report Check-In

Now 11000, not worth it in mY opinion

Report Check-In

Affordable option to stay overnight close to the park. 6'000 p.P (not negotiable). Some wind protection, hot shower if there is gas to heat up the water. Overall rather basic campsite but great view.

Report Check-In

Paid 6.000 CLP ea. for camping, reservation not needed. The two buildings closest to the main road appear to belong to a refugio called Nash. We knocked at the back door of the ramshackle 3rd building and paid for the camping spot there.
