Nice little USFS campground with firepits picnic tables, pit toilets, potable water and some large sites. Some trailers can fit in here. Campground host will arrive quickly to charge your site. Pretty sycamore grove, and a little creek running through. Walk to end of road then hike 1.5 flat trail to where the wash narrows and there's a nice pool, rocks, and at the far end a little sandy beach. Nice surprise after a long day on the road.

Great little find with good views and spacious spots. 8 miles from town and groceries, pizza, etc. $24 overnight and the host will come by to collect.
Report Check-InClean bathrooms, though no toilet paper. Nice host! Firewood for $8. Good spacing between sites, nicely wooded. $24 tent camping.
Report Check-InGreat little spot about 8 miles outside the town of Camp Verde. Really nice Camp Host, very clean c/g w. beautiful mature trees. $24 for overnight camping or $12 if you are a Senior w. Nat'l Parks Pass (although that discount was not posted on the c/g check-in board). We'd definitely come back.
Report Check-InDrove by on highway and saw sign. Gem of a place. Quiet and clean, with creek running through. Was able to het site #18.
Report Check-InGreat, little campground. Hosts are amazing and so helpful. Bathrooms are so clean. Site #18 is the best. It’s right next to a little creek, all by itself. Perfect for a night.
Report Check-InToo many generators running all night. Nice creek with signs of beavers. Overpriced at $18/night. Has drinking water, pit toilets, and trash collection.
Report Check-InForest Services CG. Pit toilets but clean and well maintained. Water available. Nice quiet site could be busy at weekends. Not suitable for rigs over 50’. Campground host very helpful. No traffic noise and only 6 miles off I17

Report Check-InNot possible to stay for free anymore. There is a lot of signs. They charge you $18 per night. NO SERVICES at all, just a dry bathroom. No water. Place was dirty. We checked and decided to continue. 36 miles west in same route you will find Dead Horse Ranch State Park ($20 with services) a much better option.
Report Check-InSpent one night in the "day use" parking lot at the end of the road. It was right beside the actual camp ground. No troubles. There was a sign for the campground that had saying to pay a fee. Not sure what the fee was. Pit toilets and hiking trails.
