Nice spot. You don't hear the noise if you sleep in the car. One big hole on the road, watch out for it. We arrived at 6pm on saturday and only one spot was occupied.

Awesome spot walker pass where you’ll connect with PCT hikers be sure to bring some extra beers and snacks for them :)

Awesome free little campground! Perfect spot to be when the lower valley temps are in the high 80’s/90’s.

No cell service, but plenty of open sky for Starlink and solar panels.

Highway noise is present, but I didn’t feel it was a nuisance. Bugs weren’t bad at all, either. Lovely spot for a few nights!

Report Check-In

We stayed two nights here. There are only 3 spots to park a vehicle but plenty of tenting spaces as this is a camp for the PCT. Lots of people coming and going during the day for hiking but quiet at night. The toilets seem to be cleaned once a week. Not the worst I've ever seen...

Report Check-In

Very windy! And cold, but that’s to be expected since I car-camped here in December. It’s on a hill above the highway so there’s noise and headlights, but not bothersome. The campsites don’t have any privacy, but it’s beautiful! It’s on the PCT, I hiked up the trail a bit to stretch my legs after the drive. There’s pit toilets (byo paper and hand sani). Nice free spot to sleep for the night.

Beautiful view, lots of Joshua trees. Some picnic tables. Very dirty pit toilets. we arrived at 18 oclock and still got a spot for our Campervan. Lots of hikers from the trail who sleep in tents. Overall good spot!

Only 2 RV and 6 Tent Walk-in spots. All of them at 3pm already full. Would be a nice, yet windy spot.

Report Check-In

Only 2 sites for Trailer or Caravans.

Report Check-In

Very nice place as described. Very quiet at night, and just another vehicle when we arrived. It is a stop over on the legendary Pacific Crest Trail that goes from Canada all the way to Mexico. Pit toilets were clean and toilet paper was available. Donation based!

Report Check-In

As described. Nice place to stop with Joshua trees and lovely views of the surrounding small mountains. The pit toilets are likely not serviced often (no toilet paper and dirty). Fee is voluntary (donation based).
