Description

It's not the official Toyota Garage, but Miguel, the owner has more than 14 years experience at different places and has got also some degrees. So we went to different Mechanics in 10 months in S.A., but here i saw first time those things. He speaks also a little English , which is enough to understand all the important meanings. The garage is well-equipped and clean. He also has clients with VW, Fiat ... He explained everything to us, before he started and told us the prices for the parts. One Zylinder was not working and 2 of 4 injections has to change as well, he found this problem very quickly, but we had to wait 2 days for the right parts. Until now, it is probably the best adress for mechanical issues in the north. And the price was more than fair. Highly recommended.

Had 2 small things done on our Toyota Hiace arrived without appointment and they assisted us quickly. 2 hours labour and we paid 48000 pesos.

Went here to change front brake pads for our Toyota Sienna that has not been sold in Argentina market! Other garage said that it is very difficult to get the parts for it, but here - under 2 hours they did get the correct brake pads for our car and changed them! Recommend for Toyota people!

Miguel and his team were super veterans. We had a vibration problem that many mechanics couldn't solve few months. They repaired it. They found a new problem that we didn't know and repaired it. Miguel did 3 times test drive with us after each repairs. Best mechanic ever I met and the price is reasonable.

Highly recommended garage in Salta. Whilst it is a Toyota garage, there were plenty of other cars there and they didn’t have a problem with our Nissan Pathfinder. We had a issue with our radiator and after they were unable to repair it, Miguel ordered a new part to be custom built. It arrived two days later and was installed within an hour. He also replaced our bushings. Miguel (and his team at the garage) are professional genuinely kind and hardworking mechanics who charge the local price for tourists. Not only did Miguel take us out for lunch while we there, but he and his wife offered that we stay at their home while we waited for the new part. Price was very reasonable and fair. And as a bonus the wifi you can use while you wait is very fast! The best garage we’ve come across in South America.

I am happy to find Miguel's workshop. He is a great mechanic and he found a good solution for my problem (the machine of my car didn't work in the altitude of more than 3.300 m.). He worked competently and quietly. Bravo !!!

Highly recommended!! Very nice people here who helped us a lot! First they changed our broken mirror and next day at 9 we had an appointment when they checked the car, changed brakes and repaired alarm system. Miguel is really nice but has got limited English but he understands when you speak slowly. Really helpful and fast! You can pay here by cash and also by a card and gave lunch siesta. Opens again at 4pm. Miguel even recommended us a really cheap restaurant.

Very good garage and people are friendly. Paid 5900 ARS (116 euro at the moment) for a service check. Changed some filters and they cleaned the car.

Report Check-In

super recommended. Miguel works very well, quickly and for a just price. a did a total revisión. of our land cruiser after 20 000km in South
America. good surprised, they cleaned the car (inside and outside). very good job and friendly staff! definitely the man you need!!!

We had a check engine light come on every 2 weeks and we needed an OBD2 scanner to see what the problem was. Miguel and his companion stopped their work in other cars to help us first. Apparently something was disconnected and that's why the light came on. He is SUPER friendly, explained us everything and threats us like locals. He told us he doesn't want to make a difference between locals and tourists. In the end we asked what the price was to check everything and he told us it was free because he only had to reconnect something. People like Miguel make the world a better place :). 11/10 service! ABSOLUTELY recommended!

Came here on three occasions, all for maintanance. Happy with the work that is done and the fair price they charged. Good wifi while waiting. I would trust them to do repairs on my Toyota, but that doesn’t happen very often :-)

Miguel and his team easily rank within the top ten mechanics for your 4x4 in south america. He is very experienced and willing to help travellers. if he can't fix your problem in his workshop, he 'll know a trusted specialist who can. (welding, metal work, injection etc)
He strictly refuses to charge foreigners more. this makes it a cheap option too.
Be aware that they are VERY busy, even simple repairs can take longer than you would expect...

We dropped in at late afternoon and asked for a service (320'000km) of our Toyota Lsndcruiser for the next day. we got an appointment fot 09.00 am. Jorge and his crew did an excellent job (Miguel was away) and we could leave already at 1pm. Defenitely a place to recommend.

I had few electronical problems to fix. An other official Toyota mechanic asked me to wait 3 days. Here, Miguel and his team made me wait... 1 hour. Fast, efficient, good price and friendly. I wish all mechanics would be that good. I paid a very fair price : 200 pesos for 1 hour. Same as locals.

Highly recommended place.

we confirmed previous nice comments on Miguel. he took time to sort out a brakes issue of our Toyota 4runner. he did not push to buy useless spare parts and cost of labour was fair. Best mechanics workshop found so far in our trip in Chile and Argentina.

Report Check-In

Miguel runs a great workshop and takes great pride in his work. He did routine maintenance and valve adjustment. We took our Toyota Land Cruiser there mid-morning and despite being very busy, Miguel worked us in and had our truck ready by the end of the day. He even bought us lunch, which was a nice touch. Prices were very reasonable.

Report Check-In

Very glad we came to this place. Miguel knows his Toyota's and replaced the gasket of our front diff. When reassembling the wheel bearing seemed badly worn and he managed to find a replacement after 9PM! It was a long day, but didn't think I was going to take my LC home that night, but we did!
Super friendly guy, highly recommend!

Friendly & helpful mechanic, very knowledgeable. Can be busy indeed but he helped us out same day for a 2 hours repair at a reasonable price. Recommended!

Report Check-In

Like the previous comment we arrived at 16.30 and they were packed, agreed to return at 10.00 next day, still packed, but they moved 3 vehicles out of the way and in we went. Went into the centre and returned at 20.00 and all done (they close at 21.00). Problem was a loose steering knuckle (on a RHD Landcruiser) they did not have a replacement (as expected) but were able to tighten, re grease and replace the rubber - recommended.

We visited here to see if we could bring our van in the next day or the day after. He said yeah sounds great come at 9am. When we showed up he did not have space for us (he was super busy!) and didn't seem to be able to say no, he can't do it. He suggested in the afternoon but when we came back it was the same thing. He's clearly popular so must do ok work. We ended up going to Bosch on iOverlander who fixed our issue in under an hour.
