Still 20L a day for parking, guys are friendly. Good place to visit the town.

One guy half laughing told us there is 20 lempiras fee but... The attendant was so drunk he could barely see us 😂 he remembered to ask the money anyway, but didn't have ticket, promised one in the morning. In the morning other attendant asked for 20L more with ticket (we stayed almost until lunch). We saw the first guy too, so at least he works there. Funny. Village was busy until midnight.

Helpful parking attendant showed us a nice spot with a little shade and asked L 20 with the receipt in his hand. Before we could pay, big guy with police written on his shirt appeared. He introduced himself as the nightguard and asked us to pay him seperately. Sure, no problem. We asked him how much. No, he wouldn't tell us. Completely up to our decision. Haha, normally we love this but now apparently we had to do with a police officer, better not play around with him later. We offered L 20, but that was not enough. How much more he wanted? He wouldn't say. We apologised to the park attendent and went. The Park Touristico was a much better choice.

Still 40l for a night.its close to the center, we arrived on a sunday, it was very busy, but nice in town with music in the center and a lot of nice restaurants.at night very quiet.

Large flat dirt parking lot in town. It's 20 lempira to park for the day or 40 to park for the day and night. It is guarded all night and is very quiet at night, even on a Friday night.
