Description
This is a site run by BC Hydro; you’ll find them all over BC it’s totally free. Nice level land, classic picnic tables. Swimming depends on the water levels and how swiftly it’s moving.
Walk to nearby reservoir and views of mountains. Nice outhouses and garbage service May 1 - Oct 31. Lots of bears around so practice good food storage safety.

Stopped here for a quick picknick. Really nice free camping spots. Clean pit toilets and garbage disposal.
Report Check-InVery nice and clean campsite near river and Carpenter lake. Plenty of spaces, free of charge. Outhouses were fairly clean with lots of flies.
Report Check-InBeautiful free campsite with plenty of spots. A little stroll to the lake and river but still easy access, and you can drive right up to the lake and park for the day.

We found food in the fire pit which is not such a good idea in area with this much bear scat. CG is maintained with garage service May 1 - Oct 31.
