Beautiful mountain lake you can camp along the shores. Relatively flat and some grass depending on the water level. Good place to spend the night if you take the cirquit de ceders from Azrou. There is a restaurant on the hill where you can order a tagine for dinner. Great spot.

Valley of the barking dogs ...
The restaurant has been discontinued. Now a lot of half nomades have settled here in shacks. The campground is a simple meadow with sheep, donkeys, dogs and cats - thus there is a lot of excrements on the meadow. While the dogs are not aggressive, they are barking during the night. When we where there, there were also lots of youth groups that were drumming until 3am and starting again at 6am. In total, we cannot recommend this place - also the lake is not worth seeing.
Free. We actually drove our motorcycles to the other end of the lake which had good flat tent spots. And much quieter and shade trees. Great spot.
