There are some sign « camping not permitted » and « campfires not permitted » but we stayed one night with our van and no one bothered us.

Nice spot, fairly level for a rooftop camp out. It's quite exposed so the wind howls and rain is sideways for any rain storm passing through. There is a small fire pit to use as well.
Excellent views of the Olympic Mountains across the straight towards the US.
