Banheiros simples e limpos.

Report Check-In

We have been kicking out because we filled our tank with water and it is not supposed to be included in the price 15,000 arg !!!!!
Very antipatic don’t go there

Report Check-In

New prices ! We paid for one night 2 persons and our rig 15.000 arg pesos witch is overpriced for the services offered! The owner told me it could increase following the pesos month to month…. But as he answered me we are not obligated to come !!!!!!

Report Check-In

good campground with some nice shaded spots to park up. a light and power socket at each spot. nice hot showers, we paid 3500 each plus 1000 for the camper.

Report Check-In

Einfacher Campingplatz. 6000$. Strom und WIFI. Sanitäranlagen schlicht und sauber.

Report Check-In

Horrible experience. After check-in I went to ask for whether they had a kitchen or a common area. They said no, which was fine as it is cheap (2,5k). But immediately after the managers brother came up to me and was very very angry, and said that I should not ask for such luxury in a camping. He forced me to go to reception and wanted me to apologize as he said my questions were 'arrogant'. When I refused they treatened to call the police as I hadn't paid yet. I said I would leave as I did not feel safe there, and they got very angry. I have never had an experience like this and across 100s of campgrounds and hostals never been called arrogant. Also the place is loud and worn down. DONT GO HERE. I went to Camping Vial up the road, and they were super nice and facilities were better, and only 2.000.

Report Check-In

Great camping, different areas for campers or tents with trees as windshield. 5000 pesos for 1 camper and 2 persons.

Report Check-In

Price is 2000pp and 1000 for a motorhome. Regular cars, motorcycles, and tents are no extra cost. But the bathrooms looked old and the place looked a bit tired. Also the common room is closed due to “COVID”. We didn’t stay. The Camping Calafate nearby is a better deal in our opinion.

Report Check-In

Campground with hot showers, WiFi near the reception, picnic tables in every spot and good shelter. 2,500 pesos per person + 500 pesos per car.

Report Check-In

Update: price is now 2000 ppn + 800 per car. Still negotiable 😊 Community room now open. I can't understand the bad comment from other people, IMHO everything is in good standing for Argentinian standards.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Nice campsite, with a lot of green and some privacy. Clean bathrooms and showers. They have a heated bathroom (haven't had that for months 😃). WiFi available, but not on site. Unfortunately the community room is temporarily closed. Price is 2.000 pesos ppn plus 500 for the car.

Report Check-In

Basic Camp Site, Open, a Lot of Green. but 4.500 Pesos for 2 Persons and 1 campervan is a Lot of Money. Update: for Second night we negotiated 4.000 Pesos...

Report Check-In

Nice camping, the spots are great. Shelter from the wind. The spots have electricity. We stayed 1 night with our van. There was one hot shower, but pressure was not that good. Toilets were kinda clean. You do not have a lot of privacy on the toilet. Overall good spot for the night.

Report Check-In

We spent 3 nights. Price bit expensive for the service they offer. 4100ARS per 2ppn in car with rooftent. Bathroom - showers heated, toilets člen,no toilet paper. Hot shower with good stream. bathrooms - they take care of it but they are really basic. Better campsite in the city for cheaper price.

Report Check-In

Good spot. Paid 1500 Arg pesos/night. Trees/shaded, easy to get to. Power, hot showers, wifi near office.

Report Check-In

Located very close to town center.
Nice, clean, hot showers and place for barbecue.
Payed 1.100 Argentinian pesos for 1 person and my camper
Owner is very nice. Definitely recommended. I stayed 4 nights.

Report Check-In

Nice campground. Paid 1900 pesos for 2 people (8000ea) and the van (300). Spots have trees in between them for privacy and the wind. Good sinks for washing dishes, reasonable banos with hot water (but only for five minutes). Reception even lent us an adaptor for our Chilean plugs when we asked.

Report Check-In

Good campground for a travel trailer with electricity at sites, trees for windy protection, near town. Few taps of water and distant from the motorhome area.

Report Check-In

Clean place. Hot shower. We pay 800 Peso per person and 200 for a motohome. A lot of barking dogs and some noise from the city.

Report Check-In

update Price : 450$pp (same everywhere else) +150 for the van.
we went to all the other camping and the prices were the same or higher
very Nice Guy. bathroom and showers are great. water and electricity.
we stayed 4 nights

Report Check-In

correction to the previous comment: 300pp + 150pcar

Report Check-In

charged us 350pp + 100 for car. ok place

Report Check-In

We have stayed at this campground 3 times over 4 months while traveling around Patagonia and totally agree with all previous good reviews. Not sure what happened with the 2 recent bad reviews but they are totally out of character with what the owners and the place are trying hard to represent - which is a friendly, secure and family oriented environment.

Report Check-In

They asked 600 for one night, 250pp and 100 for the car, the spots are well protected from the wind and have light, table and electricity.

Report Check-In

the man ask us 200 pesos more than the price and want to kill us if we don't pay ! he has consummed drugs. we were very afraid ! avoid this camping absolutely ! we have to leave the camping very quickly !

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

"High season" now - 600 pesos 2p+car.
Great showers, clean bathrooms. Electricity at most sites plus (1st time ever) lamps with a switch! No more light than you really need!

Report Check-In

Petit camping très agréable, sanitaires propres, douches chaudes, emplacement avec table et barbecue, wifi à l’accueil. 250 pesos par personne 100 pesos pour le CC. À côté du centre ville.

Report Check-In

Price 200ppn and 100 per car
Showers good and hot. Nice spots to stay.
Saturday your hear the music from somewhere - but still ok.

Report Check-In

Very average camping site, partially run down. Had shoes stolen by a stray dog as fence is old and full of holes. Recently flooded. Owner tried to help after claiming that there was nothing he could do about the fence. Wifi was very slow that day. Shower was hot. And foyer was warm.

Report Check-In

Good campground, few blocks away from center. Bathrooms a bit rundown, hot showers and heated room was nice, no tp. Common room, good WiFi, reached the parking spots near the house. Many spots for vehicles and tents. Good for big rigs. We paid 500 for 2 and our van.

Report Check-In

Decent campground, friendly staff, hot showers and in walking distance to town. To be recommended!

Report Check-In

Nice place, payed 200 ARS per person. No kitchen to use but a warm common room, shared with the owner :), to sit in and eat.

Report Check-In

Cosy little place, WiFi is average, but fast. The Best hot showers in a campground with heated bathrooms, which is so nice when you are staying in the winter. Stayed 3 days, cost was 400 for 2 ppl and a Land Rover. Friendly and safe, left our stuff there while hiking all day.

Report Check-In

Great family owned campingground with super clean and hot showers. Lot of space also for big rigs, bbq places, good WiFi next to the main building and 5 min walk to city center. We stay several nights and can totally recommend that place. 150 ppp super fair rate.

Really lovely campsite! Very clean facilities with hot water all day in the shower. Good enough WiFi for WhatsApp calling and even managed to download a Netflix film. Very nice people running it. $200pp.

Report Check-In

Liked this place a lot. Pretty campsites sheltered from each other by little hedges. Hot shower, but no kitchen. 200pp, didn't charge us for the motorbike

Report Check-In

Charged 150 p.p with no attempt to negotiate.

Report Check-In

Very friendly family. Very hot showers. We Will store van here go go home by christmas.

Report Check-In

We paid 150 p.p. in a tent, car was free. WiFi was ok, it reaches to the first 3 sites. Shower was clean, we were the only ones when we arrived, later one campervan joined. Well sheltered from wind and away from the main streets.

Report Check-In

very nice Campsite near the City center. showers were in a heated area which was incredibly comfortable. 300 Pesos for 2 persons and a tent.

Report Check-In

as per all comments below. friendly and lots of trees. hot showers. WIFI was very poor.

Report Check-In

We stayed here 3 nights, paid 100 pesos per person per night in mid-March. Very friendly owners. The common room is open 9am to 8pm, but they did let us stay later than that. Hot showers worked for us, and the shower/bathroom block was heated 24 hours! So nice to get dressed in the warm. We were able to wash and dry all of our laundry here, there is a clothes line in the first camp site. Wifi was not amazing, but we were able to talk to family and search whatever we wanted with ease. Only a few other campers at this time of year. Easy to walk to town. Great value, would recommend.

Report Check-In

Ok campsite. Wifi works in common area. Warm shower with radiator inside, so it’s cozy and warm to change clothes and shower. Ok clean toilets/ showers. 100 pesos per person for this period. We paid 200 pesos for 2 people with a van. Around 10 min from centre. Good option to stay at.

Report Check-In

Now 150 per night but not sure if that is because there is a month long festival going on here. Stayed her 6 nights in total (with a glacier trip in the middle).weather has been mostly sunny and reasonably protected by the wind and easy walk into town. As aver, some noisy campers at night, but even so a difficult place to leave after many days on the road in the cold and wind.

Report Check-In

Nice camping. We were there during the festival, it was very busy. Not so clean, slow wifi and loud, but normal for such a full camping. We paid 150 pesos pp, but probably only more because of the festival. Would recommend anyways.

Report Check-In

Best option with found in town with level, tree shaded spots protected from the wind and with power outlets. 150 per person. It can get super crowded in high season. Restrooms are insanely uncomfortable. Good hot shower and average wifi speed by the reception desk only.

Report Check-In

Nice camp ground. 130pp. WiFi near reception building and in comon room. Weak signal also reached the first few spots. Showers were clean and consistently hot. Dishwashing sinks. Easy walk to town. Recommended.

Report Check-In

I'm back again after leaving my camper here for 2 months. All safe and sound. Paid the 50 pesos per night as agreed so 3000 pesos total. I'm here for 4 nights total. They are so charging me 100 per night, but she did mention that the prices went up, but didn't say to what. I guess that would be the 130 quoted below. It's so very reasonable I think, especially with the rate of inflation here. Gas prices went up by 10% in the same time, and it is now peak season. I have found the owners to be very kind, so maybe the person below got them in a bad day, or 'negotiated' too forcefully. There are two sides to a story.

Report Check-In

very nice Urban campsite less crowded than the other one just the gate before. good wifi in the refugio. clean bathrooms, hot water. 130 ppn. little kids do not pay.

Report Check-In

Wanted to stay here with a campervan and was proposed 130 pesos per person. I tried to negotiate nicely but was basically yelled at. Decided to give my money to nicer people.

Report Check-In

nice shady campground, walkdistance to city centre. clean and hot showers and decent speed internet in the commonroom.

Report Check-In

Boa alternativa. 100 pesos por pessoa + 80 pesos pelo MH (paga só o primeiro dia). Perto do supermercado e do centro da cidade, podemos circular à pé por toda a cidade. Boa localização, limpo, bem protegido do vento. Wi-Fi muito lento e só funciona junto à administração. Recomendo.

Report Check-In

Nice, friendly, family run site 500m from the main street. Nice spaces for tents and rigs with power outlets, outside sinks with potable water, hot showers, and common room with internet and tv.
100 pesos per night per person. No charge for camper van!
I asked about long term parking and have been quoted 50 pesos per night. Bargain. I pay when I get back in January 2018.

Report Check-In

Very kind owner! We payed 200 pesos for 2p in campervan (car wasn't charged). There is a shelter with tables and tv. WiFi had good range and for free. Hot showers.

Report Check-In

Nice place. Close to City center. 24h hot water. Quiet place and friendly crew.100AR$ p.p.

Report Check-In

We can't share the same enthusiasm as reviews down below. The common area was closed for camping guests because it is now used by the family (we were not lucky enough to see the friendly part of the family). The sites have electricity but no covered shelter meaning that you cannot cook when it is windy or raining (wich is most of the time). The shower (just one working out of three) is hot and the bathroom area is heated but was not cleaned at all while we were there. Wifi is only at the reception and is really slow. Yes it is cheaper than the other campings but at the end this was like an expensive wild camping with the bonus of shower.

Report Check-In

Nice owner with a lot of animals (cats And dogs). Toilet doesnt flush. Showers are hot. You have your own camping space. 130 peso pp with a small tent.

Report Check-In

Nice family run place, 130pp. Not much cheaper than the fancy and wonderfully maintained place in town (165pp there) but it was more for backpackers and we needed to save money. Electricity and lights at sites, hot showers. Both good options.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Nice friendly family place. Really close to town. 130$/pers.

hot shower and slow wifi. nice place for 100 pesos p.person.

Report Check-In

100 Pesos per person, old but clean. Close to center.

Report Check-In

Little nice and quiet camping with hot showers.

Report Check-In

We spent New Year's Eve/day here and we loved it. All the positive reviews are totally right on. We had a hot shower in the clean bathrooms and then did some laundry. We used the wifi in the common room (which was ok in speed). We enjoyed celebrating New Years with new friends by a fire. There is no wind here, great spots with electricity at the sites and lots of friendly dogs and cats. We really enjoyed staying here.

Report Check-In

The best place in calafate ¡¡¡
Hot shower , clean bathroon, very friendly people
Really beutiful place and the owner is soo sweet ,we spend here 5 days .
Recomendado

Report Check-In

Good bath rooms $100 per person. Bring you own tissue. Hot showers . Close to downtown . No wind.

Report Check-In

A decent camp ground close walk to the main high street (shops, restaurants & supermarket). Places are good size with place to cook & eat and have electricity w/ overhead light for when it gets dark. No indoor cooking facilities but communal lounge area with wifi (can be a bit sketchy). Showers basic but good - plenty of hot water. 100 pesos per person.

Report Check-In

Walking distance to city center. 200 Pesos for 2 plus Defender. Campground not well maintained, BBQs and wooden benches/tables unusable because close to falling into pieces. Slow Wifi near reception, but not working constantly. Bathrooms heated, in kind of poor condition but clean. One of three toilets only has a shower curtain instead of a door. Doors cannot be locked. Safe travels!

Report Check-In

100 ARS per person. Very clean, heated bathrooms. 3 ladies loos & showers & 3 men's loos & showers. Only one shower for each effective! Very friendly lady owner and a young man who speaks excellent English. WiFi good within 50 m of reception building. Heated room where you can sit and use WiFi is large & with tables and chairs. Very quiet & peaceful this weekend. One other van here for one night. Apparently only busy in December & January due to cost of trips to the glacier. Lots of chickens, chicks, dogs & cats for company!

Report Check-In

Very good campsite. WiFi not working but we didn't chase the issue. We were charged 100ap per person. The heated toilets/showers were great.

Report Check-In

Good location. Run by a very nice lady. This place has a warm indoor area where the wifi is strongest. The pitches are well sheltered from the wind by plenty of trees. Bathroom facilities are clean, heated and functional, showers are nice and warm. Be careful with the door in the men's, you can easily be locked in.

Report Check-In

They told us they were closed (? for the winter?) when we arrived here in mid April.

Report Check-In

Good camp ground, walking distance to town, was normally closed (did not have campers since early march) but opened for us. Bathroom was heated and showers ok (we had to wait a couple of hours to start up the hot water system again for us). Friendly owner. We paid 100 pesos per person so good value for money!

Report Check-In

Large sites and good wind shelter. Living room for cold evenings. Walking distance from town. ARS 200 (2 adults, camper)

Report Check-In

Very quiet campground with nice grassy tent sites. The bathrooms are old but functional and heated. The showers are hot and the room is warm. Nice common room with sofa, tv, and several tables for eating at if the weather is rainy or cold.
There are a number of friendly cats that will visit you when you are cooking and one explored the vestibule of our tent during the night.
Good camping at a good price (100 ars per person) walking distance to town

Report Check-In

Nice Camping Place with a very friendly Chief if the camping. You have free wifi here, showers with warm water. Person/day = 100 ARS. There is a cooking place witch can be used.....very well.

Report Check-In

Nice spot for overlanders indeed. The Wi-Fi didn't reach the campsites but we had a really nice shower.

Report Check-In

Wifi was spotty, bathrooms could use some attention, but this was the best deal we found in and around town that had good wind protection.

Report Check-In

Nice family run campgeound, 100 pesos per person and no charge for camper. Slow WiFi near office and comunal room until 2300. 24 hour clean hot showers and restrooms. quiet and more low key than the other nearby campground. Power at sites.

Report Check-In

As others have said, it's a little rough around the edges (bathroom facilities are clean but basic), but has a lot of plus points - electricity and lights at many sites, shady and sheltered, quiet during weeknights. We paid $100pp, with nothing extra for the van. Friendly owners too!

Report Check-In

friendly staff. dogs allowed. 2 electric outlets. a light, picnic table and fire pit are provided. Showers are open to use whenever and even have a heater! 100 pesos.

Report Check-In

nice camping. we paid $A 100 pp. cons: just one shower working ok in men's bathroom.

Report Check-In

Very nice owners who even watched our dogs for us while we visted Perito Moreno glacier! The normal vet in town (Veterinarian Charley) was closed for the holidays while we were here. 100 pesos per person.

Report Check-In

Good campsite in the centre of town. Paid AR100 pp no extra charges for vehicle. Hot showers in a heated room - amazing! Power at most sites, good wifi in common room. Sites have bbq pit / picnic table but a bit of a squeeze for larger vehicles

Report Check-In

The2Dutch. Good place, shadow of trees and protection for strong wind. Price 100 P P/P . The Municipal asked 110 P P/P + 80 for the motorhome

Report Check-In

now price is 100 ar$ per person per night. Indeed small but adequate places. some have electricity.

Report Check-In

Nice camping. Stayed here for 2 nights. Hot showers and clean. 100 pesos pp per night.

Report Check-In

100 per person per night. No vehicle charges or other additionals. At first glance this campsite seemed rough around the edges but it grew on us and we enjoyed it. There is an inside common area with tables, chairs and couch and good wifi. I was able to easily upload photos to our website. Almost all Sites have tables and light and electricity and grills. The shower room is heated and there is an outside sink washing area for laundry and dishes.

Report Check-In

Good place and nice wifi. We paid $100pp.

Report Check-In

simple campground wroth good services. good wifi, showers and people.

Report Check-In

Great location and friendly staff, basics are fine hot water bathrooms etc. Outdoor sinks for cleaning and potable water. 100peso pp. Internet in the main building works reasonably. Good value for money.

Report Check-In

Camping area near the centre of town. Plenty of room. 80 pesos per person.

Report Check-In

Ok campground in walking distance to town. Sites are accessable with any size car. BBQ's, tables and power at sites. Clean bathrooms with warm (not hot) showers. Better than ovejero where you have to stay in the parking lot with a camper. Good wifi! We paid 80 per person/night (no vehicle fee). Very quiet (compared to Ovejero).

Report Check-In

Friendly place. 80 pesos per person per night

Report Check-In

Paid 80 pesos per person, no charge for vehicle.

Report Check-In

Nice place, pretty good wifi, 80 per person, 25 for the vehicle. Cheaper than Ovejo which was 220 total for the two of us.

Report Check-In

ARP 70 per person. Camping on grass with tables and grills. Way better than a dusty parking lot like the El Ovejero Camping.

Report Check-In

Great family run campground. There are plenty of shady camp spots, big enough for any size vehicle. Fast wifi only reaches the first few sites, but there is a indoor common area that you can use. It can get very loud on the weekend.

Report Check-In

Amenities: 5 / cost: 3 / quality: 3. There are at least 3 campgrounds in the center and this one was the best deal. It’s an easy 10 minute walk to the center of town. As a nice bonus, the shower and bathroom block is heated. Decent wifi is only around the admin building. Camping El Ovejero down the street is AR$50 per person and their RV area is just a dirt parking lot further down the road. El Calafate – bush camping

AR$25 per person.

Report Check-In

Within walking distance of downtown and to the supermarket. Beautiful - albeit very small - sites. Some sites have benches and table and grill. Clean toilets, hot showers.
