Simple process to enter Argentina here from Paraguay with two motorcycles.

We parked the motorcycles and walked up to the immigration booth. The man inside took our passports for less than one minute.

Walk over to the aduana office. They asked for passport and vehicle registration. Then several minutes to enter the information into the computer, print and sign a form.

From Paraguay, Argentina's side: passports stamped without questions. The Aduana guy asked how much cash we had and he checked our insurance for the motorbike (first time in SA). The process is otherwise easy, fairly quick depending on how full the ferry is. In our case, it was fully packed, but still done under 30 min.

We took the ferry from Paraguay to Argentina. Turned in TIP in Paraguay and got exit stamp. Then boarded ferry with big rig.
On Argentina side we parked off to this side to let the locals through. Then found the aduana guy. He was super friendly and spoke some english. He did our TIP. No question of insurance (which we had). No fees.
Then an inspection by a nervous young woman. She jumped in and jumped out. Never said anything. We had already eaten the fruit. Never checked cab of truck. Then she and coworker recorded and stamped passports. (All earring flip flops)
Then she signaled to the SENASA guy to come check the dogs. He asked if we had dog papers, and I provided the booklets with proof of all vaccines. Lots of chit chat in English and Spanish. He said that other borders may require SENASA form, but since it says the same thing as my records, we were fine. No fee, never looked at dogs.
Everyone was super friendly. The whole process took less than 30 minutes. Dirt road up to cobblestones. Stop and see Corpus Christi Ruins and Museum for free!

We went to the ferry in Paraguay just for visiting it (not for crossing) on a Saturday at 14:00 and it was closed. So better check before on the operation hours. To our information it also closing its service at 16:30 when it is running.

Very small border. We could not pass from Argentina to Paraguay here. The paraguayen side did not have the form necessary for the temporary import permit of the vehicle. We asked the argentinian customs officer to phone their paraguayen colleagues, so we found out before stamping outof Argentina and taking the ferry. They sent us to Posadas instead. I imagine the direction Paraguay to Argentina is less troublesome.
