Very nice Rest Area with a great view in the canyon, good for overnight. Free.

Great spot! I camped with a small car and a tent. It was a little difficult to find a clear flat place for the tent.
Picnic tables, pit toilet (not a lot of toilet paper when I was there.)
It was calm when I stayed, but locals call this Windy Point, so I've updated the name to reflect this.
Report Check-InRest area with a great view over the canyon and surrounding hills. Unfortunately, most trees were burnt a few years ago, so the view is also a bit gloomy (and it looks like the artic spruce is replaced by birch). The afternoon wind is pretty strong at the ridge (where the picknick tables are), but a bit back is OK for a roof tent. We had no wind at night and such gorgeous weather the next day that we spent a day in the sun and stayed a second night.
Report Check-InDeadly view. Tryed to set up the roof tent on my power wagon at the last picnic table but the wind from the canyon made it a bit sketchy. Set up by the trees about 20 meters away. Still a bit Windy but kept the bugs away. No rain so folded up fly.
Report Check-InGood place, nice view and clean pit toilet with paper. The wind was VERY strong when we were here (on the upside, that meant no mosquitos ;))
Report Check-InGreat place overlooking the valley. Several places to stay. Fireplaces, tables, bear-proof waste container.
