Nice wild camping in National Forest. only 10 Miles from the Interstate I-5 exit. No services, only a fireplace and free. Pack out what you pack in!

10/10 spot. Amazing views. Road is passable with any rig, we did it towing a 26’ trailer. Good cell service for AT&T and T-Mobile. I’m looking at a total of three spots, but I’m sure there are a couple more up the road as we saw a van make it’s way down there. This might be my favorite boon docking spot yet, and that’s saying something
Report Check-InWe didn’t see the exact location mentioned. It was pretty wet so we didn’t want to venture far off of the main road. We stopped by a corral and the ground was more than firm enough. More traffic than we expect but a beautiful view.
Report Check-Inpretty secluded spot far enough from the freeway to only faintly hear traffic. we showed up at sunset and the view was excellent. 5g on att and T-Mobile. some hunters in the area at dusk but so far at night no one else. road is totally 2wd accessable. clean up after yourself and enjoy. temps dipped to 9°
Report Check-InGot here yesterday and will stay a couple nights. Easy access and lots of flat places to camp. Very quiet! One of the nicer boondocking spots I've found.
Report Check-Inas described great spot just off the freeway. you cross under the freeway and go 2.5 miles on a pretty good for 2WD dirt road. I pulled in at night and was slightly worried about the ground being soft but it was plenty firm packed at the time I was here. great views in the morning, three bars of Verizon 4glte.
Report Check-InExcellent camping. The nice people left some wood at the fire ring.
I camp here in May and October
Great spot - flat ground, amazing views, lots of birds, plenty of firewood, 2 bars of Verizon, fire ring. What more could you want? Loved it!
Report Check-Ineasy to get to, not many people & cell service! great for a night while passing through.
Report Check-InGreat spot
Rolled in early March and it was a bit muddier than it appeared to be at first glance but managed to get to the site with my 2wd sprinter without much problem but wouldn’t want to stay thru a rain storm and didn’t pull too far off the road out of an abundance of caution
Beautiful spot to hangout for a bit
Good spot. Cows. A few rvs and ATVs around, but quiet. A little difficult to find a level spot. Good service. Definitely a good place.
Report Check-InSimple dirt dispersed camping. Quiet for the most part until 5:45 am when the coyotes and hunters came. We didn’t see anybody else, easy to find. Would recommend. Pick up some trash while you’re there, we want to keep spots like this open! Tons of micro trash and glass so be careful with the bare feetsies
Report Check-InIf coming from the south, only a couple miles off interstate. Wide open spot, beautiful views of mountains, and very peaceful despite close proximity of I-15.
Report Check-InNice large area down a decent bit of gravel road. Great cell reception even with tmobile
Report Check-InQuiet with lovely views of the mountains. Down a good dirt road that any vehicle can get down. There were some older stone fire pits. We spent 1 night here with 2 big rigs. Great verizon 4g
Report Check-InVery secluded location not to far off the highway. Fire pits, free, and good cell reception. Beautiful view of the mountains. Stayed two nights and would love to have stayed longer. Only one other traveler showed up on our second night.
Report Check-InClean. The sites are old and overgrown but there are a few available fire pits. Free wood scattered around. We arrived at night. Watch out for cows! Hard to find spots in the dark. Great cell service
Report Check-InGorgeous wild camping close enough to the freeway to be convenient, far enough to be quiet. 3 bars Verizon with great speed.
Report Check-InGood for a night when on onward journey. Firepit and away from the highway.
Report Check-InNice wild camping in National Forest. only 10 Miles from the Interstate I-5. No services, only a fireplace and free.
