Belize
"Ferry" across the river to ruins. they asked for a tip on the way there but not back. Ruins allow dogs -as all ruins in Belize do. Keep them leashed, under control and clean up after them! No charge for ferry.

We took the ferry with our campervan (3.5 ton). Then drove to the ruins. All paved. Large parking.
Unfortunately, no overnight stay allowed.
Very interesting site, with excellent information on the history of the area. Highly recommend.
Report Check-InFerry is supossed to be free. Ruins: US$5 pp. We didn’t go but we heard they are nice.
Report Check-InImpressive ruins you can explore on your own or with local guides.
No crowds, no vendors and an informative visitor center.
Amazing views from on top of the pyramid.
Highly recommend.
Worth the trip! Beautiful ruins. No crowds. Nice to be able walk and explore the ruins.
We tried to take our dogs and they said no dogs. After we did the ruins, I'm quite certain if we would have just walked through with our dogs, there would not have been a problem. No signs or rules posted no dogs.
