Chili-Argentine. Nous allions serein pour passer la frontière et ce fût la pire. Alors que c’est souvent compliqué quand on entre au Chili, nous avons eu droit à une fouille en bonne et due forme. Confiture confisquée (ce sont quand même des fruits cuits), fromage entamé également, sciure, ça fait plus d’un an qu’on se le trimballe et jamais eu de mise en garde. Bref, vaut mieux que vous preniez vos dispositions avant d’arriver à ce contrôle

Entramos por essa fronteira e voltamos por ela.
Tanto a inda quanto na volta foi bem tranquila, bem educados!
Foi feito revista em nosso carro com total respeito, conversamos, rimos e fomos liberados.
Aduana muito tranquila, fale muito a pena corta por ela e as paisagem fale muito a pena.
Essa Aduana não funciona no inverno por conta dos gelos na pista e por conta das quedas de pedras e gelo. Antes de atravessar verifique se está aberta.

Very efficient crossing. First migración for a stamp on a slip of paper. Show documents with plate number. Then aduana for TIP.
We were only going to and from the Termas (not entering Chile) so it was super easy. But it did feel strange to exit Argentina to go to the hot springs.

When we entered Arg the official at immigrations asked for the TIP from Chile. He insisted even when I told him Chile aduana keeps the paper after exiting. Only when his collegue at aduana confirmed my story we were stamped in. As if we were the first foreigners crossing this border. Our car was searched lightly for we don’t know what.

The Argentinien Customs point is here. Friendly and fast. From here the Chilien Customs point is approx. 60 km away. The road on both sides is very good paved.

Small boarder crossing from Argentina to Chile. We went here after boarder in Mendoza was closed for a week and might be closed for further weeks after heavy snow. Process as usual. They will only let you pass with snow chains.
