Description

Awesome camp site near lago Gutierrez. Hot showers 24/7.
Todo supermarket nearby, and a smaller shop on the corner. Has kayaks for rent, in summer this would be great on the lake, and there's a creek that runs right through the camp which would be great on summer afternoons. Free wifi, electricity everywhere, friendly camp dogs, good manager. There's a stove for campers to rent and the kitchen is likely to be used for people in the hostel. Near some great walks including up to Refugio Frey (highly recommended!!!). Bus stops nearby (300 mts away) take you into the city (bus 50).

Camped in our car tent here, 8000pp and 5000 for the car and 10% discount by cash. Nice place but felt like a second class citizen compared to the hostel. Would stay elsewhere or in hostel next time.

Report Check-In

Very cute place and good facilities. Friendly staff. The price in March 2024 was 21 000 pesos for two people and a van.

Report Check-In

Absolutely beautiful campgrounds right on the river! This spot has many great amenities and a very large camp with plenty of room for many tents and camper vans. They have multiple bathrooms and very clean hot showers. They had a nice community kitchen and sinks to wash dishes. It is also very close to everything in town and close to the beach. It cost $21,000 ARS for 2 people and a camper van. It was $8,000 per person and $5,000 per van.

Small but cozy camping with very friendly people and staff. They are very helpful . Showers clean, hot and ok pressure. We based our motorhome here for the few days we spent in Bariloche, moving around with the colectivo and Uber taxis that work really well.
No toilet paper like most Argentinian campings, otherwise all good.

Price for end of September was $3.200pp and $1.500 for the van for camping. We were one of the only ones in shoulder season, a bit too cold for us for socializing but looks like an amazing spot when the weather starts to get warm! Showers were hot with good pressure, clean bathrooms, wifi.

Report Check-In

What a gorgeous campsite! Green with lots of trees, but not only shady places. The administration guys are super friendly. And the showers possibly the best in Patagonia - really hot and with water pressure! WiFi is available if you park close to the reception; 4G however is also fine. Price is 6.000 Pesos for 2 persons plus car. Really recommend this place!

Report Check-In

We stayed two nights 2p and motorhome and paid ARS 6,000 per night. Nice camp site. Electricity and table per site. Hot showers and toilets were clean. Well maintained. Close to beach. Looked like fun place for young people but was quiet. Laundry services (ARS 3,000) for big bag but don't bring delicate clothes. WiFi worked well near central area. Space for cooking and small bar.

Report Check-In

Very busy and crowded campsite. we didn't try internet. Some toilets were not that clean, but did see maintenance crew clean. Some sinks near campsites were dirty and clogged. No electrical outlet at site. Shower facilities worn but clean.

Report Check-In

nice place but now they ask 2.500pp and 1.000 for the car. i did not stay

Report Check-In

lindo camping, as coordenadas aqui não estão corretas. Melhor colocar o nome no maps. Super bem atendidos. Tudo ótimo. Fica a 14km do centro de Bariloche mas usamos o coletivo 50 e foi tranquilo. Otimo

A beautiful campsite! We stayed for two nights after hiking Refugio Frey and loved it. It’s right on the river which is perfect for swimming, the showers were hot and toilets clean!

There was a communal fire pit area and good wifi in this space. It will reach to some camp spots as well.

It was a touch expensive, 2000 pesos per person plus an extra 500 for the van (each night) but we enjoyed it just the same.

It’s worth visiting the burger/ pizza place just down the road in the village if you fancy some food out, you can sit outside with a view of the lake and the pizza was great! A really friendly village with nice people, we loved it.

Report Check-In

Very well equipped campsite. Hot shower, toilets, there is even a shared kitchen. The setting is very pleasant, it is very well maintained! Sebastian is very friendly and welcomes you warmly. Bus 50 takes you to Bariloche, it is 5 minutes on foot. 2000 pesos per person + 500 for the van.

Report Check-In

um camping sensacional, junto a um pequeno arroio de águas cristalinas e geladas, tem possibilidade de cabanas e hostel, no verão oferece várias possibilidades de atrações, um gramado muito bonito e um pessoal muito atencioso

Report Check-In

Really nice campsite next to the hostel. In low season it was ok to cook in the kitchen. Nice walk to Frey (no snowshoe/rackets needed anymore, only good waterproof shoes because off the smelting snow). Supermarkt and nice place to eat burgers close. 2000 peso ppn and 500 for the van. Nice and hot showers. bathroom is ok, but could have been cleaner. Recommend the place.

Report Check-In

I agree with all the comments posted previously on 5/2022. Super cute location next to a peaceful creek with birds. Easy walk to two places to eat plus the supermarcado

Report Check-In

Nice campsite with friendly owner Sebastian. Hot showers and wifi in the main building. 1200 pesos per person plus an extra 100 pesos for the van.

Report Check-In

Very nice campsite, clean with hot showers.
$1200pp
Small city accessible by bus. 20min to Bariloche every 15min 👍

Report Check-In

Price is 400 per person plus 200 if you’re sleeping in a van or 130 just to park and sleep in a tent. So it was 1000 for us, but it was so crowded we slept in the parking area next to the admin building. Nice campground though, and hot showers. Better for tent campers.

Report Check-In

800 pesos for 2 and van. really nice and quite place. short walk to supermarket

Report Check-In

Only one update 800 for 2 people and camper. All else remains the same

Report Check-In

Nice place with hot showers and friendly owners. we paid $750 for 2 persons and a van, which is not cheap. toilets and showers are working fine, but very outdated. No toilet paper and soap.

Report Check-In

Nice place. hot water was good and ppl are friendly. close to the water and some shops.
wifi sucks.
300 for a tent and a motorbike. the lady wanted to charge for the bike, but the guy said not to worry about it.
Neighbours paid extra 100 for a truck.
Attached to the Todo up the road is a great empanada shop.

Report Check-In

Good grassy campground with a river and close to the lake, some stores such as Todo supermarket, and Pachimama empanadas. Friendly staff, clean facilities and good hot showers. We stayed here twice. 300 ARG pp plus cost of rig depending if you are a motorhome or not. Wifi was good the first time we visited, not so good the 2nd time. The lake is beautiful and they do kayak tours from there.

Report Check-In

750 for 2 persons 1 night..too expensive, we did not stay!

Report Check-In

Price now are 300pp and 100/150p for the camper.
Small beautiful campground surrounded by a river, clean and hot showers.
Inside kitchen is reserved for hostal guest and outside is 30p/day.
WiFi was not working well.
Check out time is 11am.

Report Check-In

very nice campground! supermarket nearby opened until 10pm, hot showers, we were able to use the kitchen to cook and wash dirty dishes on the hot water and very good wifi. 550 pesos for 2.

Report Check-In

Overall a really great place (especially compared to others in off season!). Sebastian, the owner, was really welcoming when we arrived, as were the other members of staff. Nice camping ground with clean and hot showers, cooking facilities and cosy indoor areas to relax. We were also lucky enough to be there when the chef was cooking and had a tasty good value meal.

Report Check-In

very nice people. but VERY VERY EXPENSIVE. 250 pp per night plus 50 for the car plus tourist tax. All up 555 pesos for one night 😎😎😎👎👎👎second night 200pp plus 50 for car plus tourist tax. No toilet paper supplied. Reason we use campings is for washing and filling our water tanks. Laundry 100 peso per basket. (washing only) One night was enough bush-camping again.

Report Check-In

3rd week April, these guys really on shut down time, did not care, really (maybe the summer time workers way gone!!!). Toilets closed, showers (only ones available , and had to ask) up in dorms no pressure. Beautiful green grass, yes, Tables falling apart. Chickens and 2 rabbits cute but hey, who want to pay top price for no services !!!
They point ed at rate sheet and thats it!!!
Very, very overpriced. Find somewhere else if thats possible,
As others have said maybe this is the best in Barra.
Long way out of town.....................

This place is ill informed and overpriced........

Report Check-In

Nice campingplace. Hot showers, friendly staff. Green grass to camp on, with enough picknicktables. No meals available when we got there, but a supermarkt nearby. Very quiet in march.

Report Check-In

Stayed here one night and regret not staying here the night before. This place was great as far as warm showers all day, cool people and just nicer spot to camp. Even though we stayed in a shared room, camping looked like fun. Shared room was 350/pn/pp. highly recommend over the camping spot next to lake

Report Check-In

A tipical “lonely Planet” place: many backpackers (youngsters), overrated and far to expensive. We paid $ 2000 for 2 persons with little camper for two nights. The campsite is rather small and doesn’t have a nice view. The amenities were ok.

Report Check-In

250 pp (200 if you stay 2 or more nights)+ 30 per car + taxes (10 pp, I think). Very crowded and we only found a place to park our car (with a tent on it) close to others, with just one table for 3 families. For tents they have more space. No paper on toilet, barking dogs during the night and slow Wi-Fi. I think it was too expensive for what it offers.

Report Check-In

Muy buen lugar. Tranquilo, pintoresco. Al costado de un arroyito. Rodeado de vegetación. Muy buena atención de su dueño. Baños y ducha limpios y ordenados. Muy recomendable.

Report Check-In

Best campsite off season we had in Argentina so far.

Report Check-In

beautifull campground, lots of trees for shade and really clean hot showers. wifi was good. funky rabbits and great slide for the kids. price was 200ppn and 100 for the van. at last a campground again with no dust :-).

Report Check-In

Great spot, Sebastian the owner is super. Wifi was good, showers hot but we were the only ones in mid winter. Seems like this would be a really fun place in summer, close to the lake and great hikes. Recommended

Report Check-In

Wifi is dismal. We asked and the owner said they've been having problems with it for 2 months. Charged us 150 pp/pn for all nights but then also charged us 60 per night for the Land Cruiser with RTT. Not sure how that works but that's what we had to pay. Little Kitchen area but it's basically just two gas burners. No real sink to do dishes in. The owner is really one of the nicest people we have met though. Lots of Argentinians stay here too

Report Check-In

Nice place!
200 for the first night, 150 for the following

Report Check-In

great spot, very friendly owner and staff. meals every night, though the price is more like 70-120AR (I assume a typo below). very popular and seems to be well known. bus to town if needed, otherwise, pavement from town to Bariloche. Wifi good during the day but slow at night.

Report Check-In

Very nice camping with friendly owners and English speaking helpers. showers are dated but otherwise nice and hot.

I updated the camping to include pet friendly and restaurant, that sell home cooked meals for around 19 ARS.

Update: They have a laundry service and the peanuts at the kitchen are for free :-).

Report Check-In

awesome campsite/hostel, a bit away from the center town but closer to start some of the best trekk arround. facilities were clean even in high Season, staff is amazing, available , make you feel like home and always try to connect people together ! last but not least, roasted peanuts are for free at the bar!

Report Check-In

Excelent place. Great people and great ambient.

Report Check-In

One remark, the campground is close to the lake, but not directly at the lake, you still have to walk a kilometer or so.

Report Check-In

Nice place. 250 ARS per night for two people with van in October. Good hot showers although the hot water system failed during our stay. Really nice owner. Wifi good and strong. Excellent walks nearby starting from the other campsite.

Report Check-In

nice place. Open all year. All as saied above.

Report Check-In

Awesome camp site near lago Gutierrez. Really really hot showers, guys only use the ones in the right door as you look at them, the others have either skin melting temperature and awesome pressure or no pressure and just warm enough.
Todo supermercado nearby, and a smaller shop on the corner. Has kayaks for rent, in the warmer months this would be great on the lake, and there's a creek that runs right through the camp which would be great on summer afternoons. Good wifi, electricity everywhere, friendly camp dogs, good manager, gave me a low season discount (100arp/night for my van and me). No real kitchen or facilities like that for campers, more for people in the hostel. Right near some great walks including up to Refugio Frey (highly recommend!!!). Bus stops nearby take you into the city (bus 50 I think, never used it though)
