Smaller Walmart. Didn’t stay here but shopped here. Heads up they do not have a water filling station.
Report Check-In2/8/2023 even though there were several other vehicles there, I got the knock at the door at 3:30 am. There was a town truck with a vehicle in tow. I hate when that happens; I wouldn’t stay there again.
Report Check-InConfirmed with Walmart staff that cops won’t bother vehicle campers here, however he stressed that you WILL get towed from the nearby Walmart Supercenter so make absolutely certain you have the right one! Always good to verify with staff just in case anything changes.
Restaurants nearby. Bathrooms inside Walmart obv. Strong Verizon 5G signal.
Report Check-InYesterday the cops came and kicked out the overnighters a couple hours before sunset. Up until then, from May until now, parking overnight was tolerated despite the signs. This may have been because of the fires situation and then the monsoon flooding. I have seen this pattern a number of years in the summer season. Gradually the parking overnight starts up again.
Report Check-InArizona Daily Sun is reporting that Walmart is cracking down on camping and telling everyone to move on per Arizona Daily Sun today.
Report Check-InCOVID hours are 0600-2200. Signs displaying no overnight parking, towing signs. I parked on the opposite end near Bashas grocery where there are no signs indicating no overnight parking. Security tapped on my window at 1am and kicked me out saying to go to the Walmart parking lot. I mentioned the signs and he seemed confused. I parked in Walmart anyway for 2 nights with no problem, until an employee came at 6am and started screaming at me saying if I don’t move the one tote from underneath my truck that he will throw it in the trash. It seems different managers have different thoughts about allowing overnight parking. Safe to just ask management to be safe.
Report Check-InMore camper vans and RVs than cars. Some clearly don't move. It was a holiday and a Saturday, so really busy. Stayed the night and used the laundromat in the same parking lot, which was clean and reasonably priced.
Report Check-InThere are many signs that say no overnight parking and that they tow so I didn't stay here or the other walmart in town that has no overnight parking signs.
Report Check-InAny other Walmart parking lot. Visit each time When work in flagstaff. My go to spot.
Report Check-InCity Walmart, signs everywhere mentioning towing and big fines. I eventually decided to ask customer services in Walmart. They said the parking belongs to the city so they haven't anything to say. I asked if towing actually happens sometimes and the guy said yes.
This + the fact they were weird looking drunk homeless people staying in abandoned cars next door from us made us decide to move to nearby Twin Arrows casino.
ATTENTION, il est noté sur chaque poteaux du parking qu'il est interdit de passer la nuit ici!!
