Report Check-Inexit hwy 89 at sunset crater National Monument and take first forest service rd 545B. i didn't travel far up the road so I don't know how many sites are further up, I passed a couple other campers. camped at a large pull off with great view of the range
Report Check-InI think what people mean by quiet is that you don't hear the main road but this area is non-stop traffic people whizzing by every 5-10 minutes swirling a lot of dust, so not quiet at all. But I guess for one night it's okay.
Report Check-InQuite place to spend the night outside of Flagstaff. You can hear the highway slightly, but you can drive up the road to avoid this. The road is in good condition. plenty of spots available.
Report Check-InWide dirt road. Plenty of spaces to pull off. Fire pits. Nice pine forest.
AT&T wireless = 2 bars
Gravel road. Lots of spots to pull off and plenty of space for any sized vehicle.
Report Check-InThere are many spots back here. 2wd OK. Verizon 4G at turnoff, 3G further in. Popular area but dozens of spots available.
Report Check-InJust across the road from the entrance to Sunset Crater National Monument. No bathrooms here, but there are at Sunset Crater. Lots of room, quiet.
Report Check-InIt's quiet even when you don't drive to far into the forest. Nice place for the night. 2WD no problem even though it rained/snowed. Unfortunately, there was some trash.
