we bargained a bit with jessica for 2 people renting 1 room and other 2 staying in the garden sleeping in the car/rooftop tent. we agreed on the total price. apparently some old guy (maybe father of one of the owners?) didn't like that deal. not going to write the complete story, but be aware to have your stay completely ruined by him if he thinks you don't pay enough, even if the price is agreed with the owner. think twice about going to this place.

Nice place as others mentioned. Paid S50 (one person) per night (after discount) for the A/C room if u are staying more nights. However, be careful of the owner's dogs. One of it bite me for no reason. The owner refused to do a video call with me (10 days after the incident) for me to see if the dog is still alive. I already got my rabies vaccine (a bit late though due to difficulty to find a clinic which has the vaccine) & now I'm worried if the virus is in my body bcos I don't know if the dog is still alive or not. This is a matter of life & death. Unfortunately the owner is very irresponsible for ignoring my request for a video call.

A nice surprise in Pacasmayo. Minutes from the beach. Run by a very friendly family. Secured parking for moto , cars or small RV. Paid 20 us for a large room with fan and bathroom. Wifi is ok. Lovely garden with shade. Roof terrace with a kitchen . You can see the sea from the terrace. Resto and shops also minutes away. Cute little town.

They were full but had a look inside; nice inside area and rooftop & shared kitchen. He offered for me to drive my car in and use facilities but my rig is too big (would only fit like 2m 25 or smth).

hostal con lindo espacio para parquear (nosotros llevamos carpa en techo) tiene cocina común en una linda terraza y baño con agua fría. pagamos 50 soles por 1 noche. solos 2 adultos y 2 niños . por tener niños nos prestaron baño con agua caliente perfecta!
está cerca del malecon, tranquilo para salir a caminar a todas horas.

Nice hostel, paid 30 soles each for a room with private bathroom. Kitchen available for cooking, good WiFi, cool roof terrace, free coffee all day. We parked our motorbikes in the garden. Also room for a few cars, no big rigs though.

I parked my small car in the garden and was allowed to use the bathroom in a room because they didn't have many guests. Clean kitchen, nice " living room", very friendly and helpful staff. 15 soles. Recommended

Safe, gated parking spots in the garden area. Cold shower, dirty bathroom, tp. Two kitchens and some communal lounging areas. Free coffee all day. Fast WiFi. Near beach and malecón, you can use bikes for free. 15soles pp. Not for big rigs.

Very good spot, we camp in our van in the nice garden during 2 nights.

Really nice place. Possible to camp with our 4x4 and a roof top tent for 10soles/person/night including toilet/shower (cold), wifi and shared kitchen. They also have rooms for 30 soles per person and you can do laundry for 10soles/kg. We expend three weeks here, nice spot if you like surfing/windsurfing, very nice atmostphere!

as described a reasonable place to stay we paid 60 Soles for a room with 5 beds and two people, wifi was hit and miss room was clean and evening was quiet

Ok place to stay for a night. Staff is so so. Some seem annoyed by the clients others are really friendly. Most of the time they are vanished anyways.
Rooms are ok, WiFi works, beer is kind of expensive. Outside area is very nice and could park my motorcycle. Also 4x4 will fit in. Big rigs won't.

Lovely chill place to stay! Can confirm that car camping is inside their gates in their lovely garden. We didn’t camp but the rooms at the back of the property are nice and quiet - 30 soles pp for rooms.

Tried to charge us 15pp, but accepted 10pp when we said we have our own kitchen. Safe, nice, lots of surfers around. We could use a Cold shower and toilet in the restaurant, wifi was average. Space for about 2-3 vans max.

Great spot, very chilled, camped in car in nice garden. Kitchen, bathroom, wifi, electricity S/10 + S/1 gas pp. We stayed 5 nts! Great ceviche & chicharrones @ Tabari's ask locals for directions S/25 per plate heaps of food also Mexican @ Al Chapo Vege Burrito S/14

60S for double room with private bath and private kitchen on the 2nd floor.
nice, clean and the all the guys here are superfriendly.
the waves are AMAZING.
absolutely recommended

We really don't recommend staying here in your car. The parking 'in front of the hostel' is parking on the street which has quite a lot of thoroughfare as there is a terminal at the end of the street. Loud music all night and the hostel's dogs barking at all hours. You're locked out from about 9pm so every time you want to enter the hostel to use the bathroom or kitchen you have to ring a bell. We were told that the door would always be opened even during the night but this didn't happen and the bell was ignored!!! They also didn't seem to understand the concept of what we wanted there, that we would sleep in the car and use the facilities and when we asked for a price several times none was given. Not recommended.

Great place! And nice people! Surf atmosphere!You can park in front of the hostal and it's a very safe place to sleep in the van and to leave it there during the day too. There are security cameras in the street and a lot of tourist going in and out all the time. For only 15 soles ($5 dollars) per car you can use all the services: bathroom, shower, kitchen, wifi, water and get relaxed inside where there is a beautiful garden, with hamacas, grill, mud oven,pin pon and football table. Ask for the nice owners Carlitos or Jesica.
