Inside Arches you pay 25 dollar, around arches you pay 15 dollar. On this spot you pay nothing and also got the amazing view. Follow the road and go on the dirtroad (at the beginning you see a sign of a trail). When you are up on the platform you have a great view and nobody can't see you.

Great overnight spot. No verizon signal but starlink fixed my problem. 4x4 high clearance is recommended.
Report Check-InIt is a calm spot. You need 4x4. When the trail is wet, you can not come here, because the narrow road is muddy.

Report Check-In4x4 trail with two great spots. High clearance is definitely needed and the path may be narrow for anything wider than a Jeep or smaller Tacoma like ours. We camped at a further spot just underneath the incredible rock formations. Secluded site we only saw two jeeps drive past the whole night. Definitely worth the crazy 4x4 road. FREE!!!
Report Check-InVery nice place. I went for a walk around in the morning and it was magic. All the road from here till Moab is amazing.
Report Check-InThere were a few spots off the road where 4 wheel drive wasn’t necessary but further up it was definitely needed. Beautiful landscape. Peaceful and quiet. We hiked around a bit and had great views of the river and hwy 128, Dewey bridge and of course stunning rock formations.
Report Check-InThe BLM places close by might have some shade from the trees but up here on the open plain we had a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains.

Outside colorado river recreational area on what Google map call "owl draw upland" road. The road was litle rough going up, I think need some sort of higher clearance for that part. If not sure about it, we can see on other side of the river (what google call : top of the world safari rte -BLM105-BLM107) a class C RV. Also saw 3 pickup pulling rather large campers roulottes going up (appear to be around 38.803344,-109.287271). From here we saw them going behind a big rock on what appears to be pretty level ground. Side note : they had good looking/capable rigs.
