We arrived at 11.40, 4 people there. Waited for about 20 mins before the window opened. Got the forms, filled in, added photos. It was mandatory to have a booking for a hotel in Mongolia (and forward email confirmation to the officer), so we booked some cancellable hotel in Ulan Bator. Afterwards we waited for 10 mins, went to pay (4020 rbl for two person). They are open 10-13. Applied on wednesday, were told to arrive on friday.

We arrived around 10.30, no line. Whole process took about 40 minutes. You take the side entrance on the left that has a small висы sign. Filled in a form, one photo, paid 30 dollars for slow processing (72 hours). We applied on friday and could pick up on monday. Fast processing (24 hours) is 70 dollars. You can pay in euro and rbl too (we paid a bit less than 2000 rbl per visa). They close for lunch and weren’t to clear on if they open in the afternoon. We were told that Irkutsk only offers fast visa processing (so only option is 70 dollars).

very easy visa process! we arrived at 10am and had our passports & visas back on 12:30 (usd 65 each).
