Wouldn’t classify it as luxury at all but it’s basic and clean. Charged is 450 BIRR for 2 people In a room with double bed. They will not allow same sex people or unmarried people to share a room. Food basic but ok. Charged us 75 BIRR for a plate of spaghetti and sauce. Good for a stopover as no camping options available on this route.

Not bad for province. Double room costs 650 birr (~22$). Phone numbers +251336640245, +251939397300. Huge rooms and beds but no air conditioner.

Good hotel with clean rooms, hot shower, new bedding, fresh sheets. There is a bakery downstairs that sells cakes and ice cream. Personnel is a little unexperienced/frightened with foreigners. We payed 450 Birr for the night, but slept little because there was a live concert right behind the hotel until late, followed by the muezzin.

We stopped only for lunch. Very good menu with local food, pizza, burgers,, rice and spaghetti dishes. Reasonable prices and secure parking while you eat.

Luxury hotel on the road from Dessie to Addis. Good secured parking and nice hot showers. good food in restaurant.
