Terrace Walmart, no 'no overnight camping' signs, few other rigs parked overnight aswell, fine for a night
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
there was already a camper set up at back of parking lot and a couple of TT off to the other side of parking lot. I asked inside if it was ok to park my car and they really didn't care at all. once the store closed it was quite quiet
Report Check-InStayed here with 3 other vans/campers. I asked at the customer service and they say it is allowed to overnight here despite the municipal regulation but they say it is at our own risk. And btw, they don’t want us to Check-in.
Report Check-InStayed another night here and no problems encountered at all. A few campers/overnighters came but then left. A few of us stayed
Report Check-InWent inside to check in but staff said stay at your own risk. We stayed anyway and we were not bothered at all. There’s a few other campers and vehicles who stayed overnight
Report Check-InAlthough there is a sign saying Terrace has a no sleeping in vehicle overnight bylaw (except for campgrounds), we asked and we’re given permission. Several other campers here too. They open at 8 am and the bathrooms are very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Report Check-InThis Walmart does allow one night of overnight camping. They want you to check in at the service desk and give your name, phone number and license plate number. Only half of the parking lot lights were on. It was very quiet except for occasional traffic on the road next to it. It is a small Walmart with a decent size parking lot. Not the most level, but the price is right, lol. Good enough for one night's stay.
Report Check-InSpent a night here - no problems. Lights to top half of parking lot turn off.
Report Check-InKind of a crappy Walmart, but ok for a night. Few other people sleeping there. Need to be a bit stealth though, it seems like the city of Terrace doesn't allow camping outside dedicated campgrounds. Walmart workers don't care though.
